u guys just cant stand a strong independent black woman who dont need no man. but ye, freedom for mages, #anarchy
Isnt Vivienne against freedom for mages? Pretty sure she disapproved when I said mages should be free.
She's in support of the circle, yeah. Speaking of which, when it comes to [sp]choosing to support mages or templars is it a case of "FREE MAGES" or "MAGE GENOCIDE"? Or is supporting Templars more of a stance to restore the circle?[/sp]
Ah, finally finished playing through Origins/Awakening/Golems of/Witch Hunt for the first time. Now my friend group who worships Dragon Age can shut up, and I'm that much closer to being ready to play Inquisition. Time to move on to Dragon Age 2, but ho, what's this? My Origins/Awakening/Golems of/Witch Hunt save file is Locked to my PS3? But I was going to copy it over to my friend's PlayStation while he was out of town, since he already has all of the DA2 DLC bought and installed! Curse you Sony! And may Hell take Trophies/Achievements and the harm they've done to this hobby!
This is for Dragon Age Origins, but does anyone know where I can find a copy of the mod Quests and Legends 1.6? It sounds like it adds a ton of content, but it got taken down awhile ago and all I can find is version 1.5. Has anyone played it before and could give me a rundown of if it's any good?
Just spent the last hour going through Keep getting all my stuff set up for DA:I. Any tips for the new game?
LEAVE THE HINTERLANDS [editline]27th November 2014[/editline] Basically, you'll be sent to the Hinterlands for a mission early on, and you'll come across countless of side missions while you're there. But don't do them then. Do the main mission there and move onto the next, come back for the side quests later.

There's even treasure maps that lead you to hidden spots and all kinda of neat stuff to explore
It's not a bad zone, most of the quests are kinda bare bones but it's nice enough. The problem is staying there and trying to do all of the stuff there at once grinds the game to a halt. Not to mention you'll end up grossly outleveling the story content if you do.
Is the main character voiced? My copy is currently out for delivery and I haven't read anything about the game.
You actualky have two voice option per gender
Is the main character voiced? My copy is currently out for delivery and I haven't read anything about the game.
Yes, and should be expected since this has been Bioware's practice for years.
Yes, and should be expected since this has been Bioware's practice for years.
DA:O didn't have voiced mains cause of the many different races. Then DA:2 did because they only had to do Male and Female, so wasn't sure if they went back to voiceless for DA:I cause of all the races being back.

Question - am progressing toward badass rogue-assasin and i am wondering if it possible to get those kick ass mage hoods(yes, rogue can wear them too) somewhere other then Skyhold armory. Oh and general opinion on game, loving it, had only few crashes, auto save works well, world imported without trouble and all graphics are max. Yes, tactical layer is wonky but otherwise i got a handling of a fight flow.
Why have you spent 8 hours in the Hinterlands LEAVE THE HINTERLANDS
I spent like one entire fucking day making up my mind of which class to play, just staring at the class selection screen. I think the hinterlands are the least of my problems. :v:
I told Vivienne to fuck off along with her mages or whatever she was offering the first time I met her. And I'm playing a nice little elven character who's trying to appeal to everyone.
I'm playing Racist Dwarf. Fuck Elves, Fuck Humans, especially fuck magic.
There's a subreddit for DA:I character creation. Some pretty good ones so far. Brienne of Tarth is spot on.

Man that romance scene was so cringeworthy I regret doing that
If anyone else is after the 1.6 Quests and Legends mod for DA:O PM me.
Man that romance scene was so cringeworthy I regret doing that
Which one?
Which one?
Cassandra one
I spent like 12 hours in the Hinterlands and I liked it :v: But the areas that unlock after that are even better.
Cassandra one
Should have rode the bull.
I spent like 12 hours in the Hinterlands and I liked it :v: But the areas that unlock after that are even better.
i am still horrified that i need to comback and collect all those shards in that location. Also, sorry Dorian, you are my best bud friend too but not that kind of a friend. And yeah, where can i get nice hood to accompany my rogue-assasin fighting evil templars? The one i got is jsut plain zero level.
Just started playing this. Only got past the first boss, but I'm enjoying it a lot more than DA:O so far.
So is it worth buying at full price or should I wait for sales? I was thinking about buying it for Christmas once exams are over.
So is it worth buying at full price or should I wait for sales? I'm about 12 hours in so far, I thought the story was OK but when [sp]you time travel in to the future, that's when the story got really enjoyable imo.[/sp] Fucking amazing.
