Dragon Age Inquisition Megathread: Bioware's Last Chance Edition

I know its probably not going to happen, but I would LOVE to see a DLC regarding [sp]the Hero of Ferelden's quest to end the calling. Don't know how they'd spin it if he/she was dead in your game though.[/sp]
I actually hope they do an expansion, going even deeper into [sp]elven[/sp] lore
So i would love to get this game, but id much prefer it on pc than console. I've heard about the drm destroying HDDs though. Anyone personally have experience with this issue?
PC controls are ass though, just FYI. might wanna use a controller even if you get it for PC
I am exploring everything, I've found no good helmet. Is there any place that sells helmet schematics?
If I heard correctly the one helmet from all the promo art for the game, one that looks like small dragon on your head, drops from dragons.

I heard it drops from that dragon in Empisomthing du something.
Personally, I'm waiting for an "all DLCs included" edition
It may take a while, but for this kind of games I really want to play the full version

Bam.
Also, apparently, a romance companion changes his/her outfit afterwards (the reason being they became part of the Hawke family and therefore are covered with money)
Here's romanced Merrill:

They really wanted a white knight weaboo wet dream as a romance option, didn't they?
That's only with romances who move into the Hawke estate afterwards, right? Fenris and Isabela don't so they keep their armor.

I'm still trying to figure out who the hell would wear that kind of "armor"

A pirate whore? Why are you surprised, it's not like she's not into casual sex left and right, along with having combat prowess and always being surrounded by men?
Just started inquisition today and got up to the point where you roam around freely.
Jesus, there are so many random quests around, seems like every piece of paper I've picked up so far leads to some quest. They throw so many things on you at once, I don't know where to start.
That's nothing. Wait until later when like 4-5 new areas unlock at once and 7 million side quests and stuff :v:
as someone who absolutely hated DA2 and praised DA:O like a deity, is this worth getting
I'd say so, but don't expect Origins 2. Its good but it's a different game.
Way better than 2 though.
Two part post.
First part contains DA:I spoilers. Hopefully when I say it's about Grey Wardens it will only let you know to stay away or not.
[sp]So I'm in Fade with Hawke and Stroud. Who did you leave behind and what did you do with the rest of the wardens?[/sp]
In second part of my post I'll post some glitches that are pretty much cheating. So don't use them if you don't like that. And be sure to make a save before doing these actions.
[sp]Free Skyhold customization
- Go to Val Royeaux and find a vendor that sells Skyhold customization items. Buy them and immediately sell them back. Once you exit the shop window you will keep them and your money.
Free codex entries and XP from them
- Same deal as before, there should be another merchant that sells books about various topics.
Here's where it gets interesting.
Free Inquisition influence points
- Once you get Skyhold near the gate should be a vendor call Farris The Representative. He isn't there right off the bat but after Skyhold gets in shape and you do some missions he should appear. From him you can buy books that give you influence points but if you again sell them right after buying them you keep both your money and points.
Last two, I didn't test them just yet, but players report they work.
Duplicating
- You can duplicate any material that you have two and more of. First in your inventory you select your material of choice (2+ pieces) and put it in the valuables category. Then go to any merchant and QUICKLY sell it. On PC it should be click SELL ALL and immediately press SPACE. You should get double the amount of money and should be able to buy back double the amount of material. You can make money this way, too. Once you have more than enough of materials you sell the extra.
Reroll chests
- If you leave one or more items in a chest and reload the area you can find new, hopefully better items. There's one location in the game with bunch of chests that can drop Tier 3 schematics so it's adviced to use this method to get as many. The glitch part of this is some chests are scripted to always drop the Amulet of Power (+1 skill point). Cole has one such chest near him, so you can get infinite points for him. Then there should be another such chest in Crestwood in the mayor's house but the amulet is for you.[/sp]
We had so many signups for tomorrow we have to do two groups, which means my guild's going to have...six, i think? teams raiding highmaul at the same time. oh god it's going to be a trainwreck.

I'm sorry but I HAD to record this
Yeah, all the above work, the two under I haven't tested yet.
Haha this tavern song is awesome.

God damn it, I just found out that [sp]Stroud[/sp] is replaced by [sp]Alistair if he remains a Warden as opposed to being the king.[/sp]
[Sp]Considering his lackluster appearance as king, it makes me sorta regret my choice there...[/sp]
I feel like I've seen an over the shoulder view in E3 stuff and early footage
Is there any way to get a camera view closer to the active player? The zoomed out centered third person just feels *wrong* when exploring the countryside.

You can lock on to enemies and the camera zooms in behind your shoulder. It isn't useful for melee characters but it's quite good for ranged characters. Click the right thumbstick if you're using a controller, you'll have to look up the keyboard controls.
Hah, weird, if you hold down the mouse click and move over "click here to continue" or whatever at the title screen you can highlight it
I think I broke the last boss fight some how. I don't know what I did but [sp]Cory in The House's and his dragon[/sp] Did a WHOPPING 1 DAMAGE PER HIT. I literally finished out the end of the game by taking no damage at all.
Oh my god, what is with this damn game and taking like 12 hours to get through some conversations, or just forcing me to skip through them to get them to progress?
[editline]2nd December 2014[/editline]
And by that I mean it loves to stay on someone's face and not progress unless I skip or wait ages.
Gotta give this game some niche extra credit for the fact it seems to be the only RPG in existence where all the wildlife in the world doesn't team up to bum-rape the human species.
Finally, Wolves attacking bears
I wish Sera looked closer to how she looks on the Wiki, instead of looking...yeah.
No storage chests and forced crafting/harvesting because loot is terrible is making this game drag for me
I wish Sera looked closer to how she looks on the Wiki, instead of looking...yeah.
I wish she talked normally like she did for that one sentence when you first meet her.
Oh wait I just realised what's mostly wrong, it's her lack of eye makeup, it's almost non-existent.
I have no idea why didn't they leave a storage chest in Skyhold, I mean it's like the most common thing to do the fuck. I want a storage. Like this, you gotta keep shit in your inventory.

That happened to me exclusively with Stroud for some reason
[sp]That was maybe a bad reason for me to choose him to die maybe[/sp]
