Is there a way to see if you've become friends with your companions? Like the loyalty status? I really miss that.
They intentionally removed it to make the relationships feel a bit more real. I've not got a source but I remember them basically saying that in real life you can't consult a status menu to see how your friendships are doing. You've just got to pick up on how people treat you and talk to you and how often they show approval of your shit.

I don't want to miss out on anything. edit: Could have hid that in the stats.
Patch was gonna be released on the 9th. There's been some issues. Not all formats will get it on the 9th. But it will come soon. https://twitter.com/BioMarkDarrah/status/541692623111868416
About fucking time. PC patch, everyone else is going to be waiting for that sweet authentication that everyone so dearly loves And here's Unity on patch 4 with most of its bugs being fixed in it. Why are EA/Bioware dragging their heels
does anyone else have problems with the hair in DAI i just want bangs and or long hair yet no bioware game really has them
Why are EA/Bioware dragging their heels
I'd rather they bring out a large patch that works instead of rapidly throwing out mini-patches that break things.
does anyone else have problems with the hair in DAI i just want bangs and or long hair yet no bioware game really has them
There isn't a single game that has a decent selection of hair. Even Dragon's Dogma which has around 70 hair options doesn't have enough. Though in Bioware's games there are only a few good hair styles in their limited selection.
Ehhh... I thought combat as a Dwarf Two-hander would be fun... Haven't made it through the prologue yet... Might try rerolling as a human mage or some-such.
Finished game as human rogue assasin with double daggers, accompanied with a nice hood and three mages as companions for game's latter parts. Good Game. [sp]The Inquisitor was hilarious[/sp]
what's with not being able to take cole with you [sp]on the final mission? i had to instead pick some shitty character that i didn't use the entire game. luckily i had equipment to spare. (even though i couldn't equip it until after i beat cory's first phase wow what a mess)[/sp] the ending was pretty underwhelming for such a huge game. also the villain looks like a huge doofus with stupid shoulders. what a terrible design. cool game but far from being game of the year.
I want to try inqusition, but DA: Origins is such a bore to play through, the combat and gameplay overall is soooo boring. Can I skip it and go straight to DA:I?

I think it's fine to play DA:I without playing any of the previous games. Although there are callbacks only few of them play a big role. Not to mention each DA game is (so far) meant to be a separate story. [editline]9th December 2014[/editline] Most important things are mentioned by companions or story, rest of the lore is in codex.

Patch 2 should be released some time today. Here's the post from Bioware yesterday.
I haven't talked to Cole since the beginning of Skyhold. I haven't had him in the party. Like at all. I don't really find him that interesting.
It's hard for me to switch between all the companions. With mages I always struggle between Solas and Dorian. The first has a lot of plot info, the other is funny as hell. Vivienne I used very little so far, I disagree with her a lot and she isn't very interesting to me. She is a kinght enchanter so I might try her out sometimes. With rogues Varric is my first choice. I actually don't mind Cole. I thought he was going to be a horrible companion but he's very interesting. Unfortunately he's a dual dagger assasssin and unless I use him myself he's useless in combat. Sera is the character I hate the most. I'm about to take her into combat for the first time, the only other time was her short quest. I hear she's quite capable at killing so we'll see. I hate her personality and her cause so I might regret my decision. Now warriors is another tough pick. I usually roll Iron Bull because he seems like a good tank but Blackwall is also decent. Poor Cassandra who I really like usually gets left behind. It's annoying because each has a great personality and story.
I wish I knew why they were having such a hard time implementing better Keyboard/Mouse control and UI functionality. Just import Dragon Age 2's. It was perfect
Multiplayer in this is not as fun as Mass Effect's, and I really wanted it to be.
The patch is OUT! Maybe I can actually play [editline]9th December 2014[/editline] Nope That hang is dangerous. If not for the fact that I undervolt my processor a bit, it would fucking explode. The game doesn't lock up, but it just sits there on the never ending, CPU Frying load screen
Pinging shows lootables on the minimap, this is the best thing ever
Patch sounds alright, they even list that low quality hair should look less shiny :). But I can't seem to find any notes saying if they improved your companions being silent all the time.

Any idea if MP shoutouts are still excessive post-patch?
Hm, my fears came true. That this patch would bring new bugs. People are reporting their scars gone and having different face texture, hair is shinier on max setting. Graphical settings seem to be stuck on lower-medium quality no matter what you select. [t]http://i.imgur.com/i4JE0OE.png[/t]
With shit like that going on, Bioware better put in a way to recustomize mid game.
Scars are completely broken for me, gone from my character and don't appear at all when customising Hawke. Wonder if that's also the case when creating a new character? That image explains why there was a completely out of place grandma as a soldier in a particular cutscene.
Bioware releases a "patch", and it makes the game even more unplayable. Classic.
I don't even get how it's possible to have issues like that. Even if you had like a paltry 20 play testers or something you'd think there's be enough variety in characters and savegames that they'd go "hey why does my character look 70 years old all of a sudden, I think there's a problem"
