I am consistently amazed at how athletic and dexterous Cassandra is. Quite often I'll be having a conversation with someone, and I'll pan the camera over to discover she is perched atop of fence post or a flower pot.
I had Cassandra warp across the screen or bounce off the objects and land somewhere else.
This fucking game. I start a new game, pick my race, class, confirm it, and it just sticks on the loading screen and stresses the CPU as if I'm using Prime95. Can't even start a new game. I don't even make it to the character creation. I'm not using any 60fps fixes or any command lines. It doesn't go unresponsive either, it just sticks there. No hard drive usage, the tooltips I can flip between, I can alt tab in and out, and even Alt+F4 works. It's just... being god damn retarded
Tried updating your drivers or something? can't say i've heard of someone with that kind of bug
I got as far as seeing my guy's face, and then both monitors went black, the last sound I heard started repeating and then it hard reset. Fun.
Tried updating your drivers or something? can't say i've heard of someone with that kind of bug
If I load a save it works fine. But it's a character I don't want to play. I can't play my Mage because every time I try leaving the area that character is in (The first small city portion you go to after Hinterlands) I get the same load screen that just sits there. So I tried creating a new game and now I get the problem there, too I've tried re-installing, deleting the files from MyDocuments, verifying, updating, I'm up to date on drivers... It happens with both Direct3D and Mantle options. I'm just fucked. Of the 39 hours of Dragon Age Inquisition I've played since it launched, Almost 38 of them were Multiplayer because it's the only part that works
So correct me if I'm wrong, but it's impossible to import the stories and appearances of your previous characters into Inquisition? What the fuck is the point of playing it then, if you're in it for the story? :v:
dragonagekeep.com is what you use to import choices.
Regardless, it seems that you're forced to have played the first two games on Origin to import your saves into the Keep. I was really enjoying the story so far but fuck it I'm done.
I finally got around to play my first two hours of Dragon Age Inquisition Here is my inquisitor (he's a mage soon-to-be necromancer, for a given value of soon), he's modelled after myself (to a certain degree): [t]http://s11.postimg.org/ngpb0hxn5/Dragon_Age_Inquisition_2014_12_25_21_25_22_28.png[/t] I've just got to the title screen (basically, when the titular inquisition is enstablished properly) So far I'm very impressed: the presentation is top notch, the story is intriguing enough and basically everything is a major improvement over Dragon Age II Also, I found these two new features to be EXTREMELY useful: - Now the game gives you a clue when you are about to make a relevant decision and goes into detail on what is supposed to happen if you choose one or the other. About fucking time - Pinging to find resources and interactable items, which tunes down the pixel hunting a great deal Technically speaking, the game seems to be running smoothly. By the time I created my chara for the first time, though, the game crashed upon the transiction to gameplay proper due to a DirectX error. I download the latest drivers for my Nvidia and all was well. The only minor issues I have is that cutscenes seems to freeze for some seconds before ganing normal speed, due to them loading for a bit I said this more than once, but here I go again: Cassandra is THE SHIT. She's like Ashley Williams but without the annoying racism vibe If I can ask for a gameplay suggestion, which companion makes the best healer? Since my character would be a dps/debuffer hybrid, I was thinking about having Cassandra as my tank, Cole as the melee dps (or maybe Sera) and someone as the healer
No you're not. You just pick the generic Warden/Hawke then pick your options.
Yeah you're right, I'm stupid. I did some actual research and found that [sp]you can change Hawke's appearance ingame[/sp] and that the Keep has an assload of options including the PCs' names. After those painful misunderstandings I think it's only fair that I buy Inquisition after all :v:
I fear the moment when my inquisitor will meet my champion of Kirkwall Imagine meeting a person who is basically your twin and with whom you share the same name I'll try to mask the whole thing as best as I'll be able to via beard and scars (thanks for the tips, Bioshock Infinite!)

Barrier is the equivalent (gives you a 'shield' in combat), and you'll probably want it depending on the difficulty. I honestly suggest even despite your character that YOU take it. Having to micromanage the companions to use it in a competent manner is terrible. Main method of healing when out of potions is to fast travel to a camp.
I could as well made my character a healer/debuffer hybrid by picking up necromancy later, but the more I play the more I'm convinced I'll use Solas as the supporting mage. I could even say "fuck it" and take with me either Varric or Sera for the extra damage This evening I've tried the multiplayer mode It was way better than expected: you actually clear out waves of enemies by advancing in an actual level with some sort of story while the characters exchange banters between themselves I'm using the archer and I like his background a big deal By the way, I'm slowly carrying my character to the infamous Hinterlands area, but I prepared myself beforehead
I swear to the almighty, one more bear on my way, just one more fucking bear and I'll get pretty upset. They seem to spawn so quickly and appear out of nowhere sometimes.
I'm on my second playthrough and I learned my lesson. I spent fraction of time in the Hinterlands compared to my first run.

The healing system of Inquisition annoys me so much. Having only those limited potions and needing to find supply crates. Feels so cheap and less interesting than actual mages that heal your party. Barrier is neat and all but I miss kind of the standard healing spells, furthermore those puny heal percentages on armors suck ass as well. Also the AI is horrible and wastes potions.
I sort of enjoyed actually playing sort of a healer mage character in da:o as well. Focus on buffing and healing your party and just orchestrate and enable your party to fucking steamroll everything in a glorious array of holy light and flying gore
I swear to the almighty, one more bear on my way, just one more fucking bear and I'll get pretty upset. I was trying to take the last camp I had left in the Hinterlands, and I got assaulted by 3 large bears, 3 mabaris, 3 black wolves, and a partridge in a pear tree.
I thought the Knight Enchanter mage sub class had healing?
I suppose, but it is far from a standard spell; it is a focus ability.
that feeling when the demon commander pops up under you and instakills you why must you torment me so game

Only people apparently capable of that are spirit healers and they apparently as rare as they can be, only know spirit healers are a Mage Warden,Wynne, her son,Anders, and Hawke and a few background characters in Origins DLC. IIRC the reasoning was to basically make people rely on tactics.

I'm up to [sp]about 2 hours after getting to skyhold[/sp] as a mage and I've used the tactics view maybe 3 times. I've also died about 3 times, but they were all to fighting rifts/dragons that were way above my level. Oh, and I'm on normal difficulty.

I had 2 large bears, mabari and 2 rogues come at me.

The reviews seem to be a mixed bag but I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
There is something odd about Liara in Inquisition. I don't know what it is ... Maybe the face or the huge fuckass gloves Also, the first time I've ever seen Josephine in action, this immediately came to mind: (I've never played Animal Crossing in my entire life)
[sp]What's with the closed door guarding all that delicious primeval red lyrium[/sp] on Storm Coast?
[sp]What's with the closed door guarding all that delicious primeval red lyrium[/sp] on Storm Coast?
Unlocked through a wartable mission apparently.
Well I finally bought Dragon Age Inquisition, but I plan on finishing Origins before moving on to that. I'm at the final fight with the Archdemon...and I can't seem to win. The fight with the demon is decent, but when the Darkspawn start coming out infinitely, screw that victory because erryone keeps DYING! Alistair gets swarmed by Shrieks and alphas, Leliana and Morrigan die should they even breathe on them before repairing the balistas, and my MC keeps using potions and getting knocked down should he go solo on the dragon. The icing on this sucky cake? My Redcliffe troops are 29 strong, my mages 12 strong, my elves 21 strong, and my dwarves 15 strong. Anyway to beat the endgame without resorting to going casual?
I fear the moment when my inquisitor will meet my champion of Kirkwall Imagine meeting a person who is basically your twin and with whom you share the same name I'll try to mask the whole thing as best as I'll be able to via beard and scars (thanks for the tips, Bioshock Infinite!)
Tell them that they're twins from another family(If that's possible). If they did that with the Grey Warden Commander, I'd say he's my cousin.
