I literally just killed myself. You know that masterwork material that give you a chance on hit to use thousand-cuts? I have that in my armor. I just accidentally stepped on a naturally occuring rune. The rune went off, I took damage, then thousand-cuts proc'd on ME. My own ability just cast itself on me to kill me.
Cassandra can go from looking intimidating to looking really cute, really quickly, she's evil for that.
And that's why she's one of the popular romances imo. Is it just me, or when I try to romance Cass, Josephine is always one cut-scene away from a toss in the sheets? One instant, I'm gaining her approval on Varric's contact, the next Josephine's on my balcony in a hour talking about every guest in Skyhold. Is it even possible to have two romances, or is Discount Wonder Woman gonna have to barge in my room and lop poor willy off?
Restarted Origins while waiting for Inquisition to download. Remade my last character so she looks a bit more human. Maker help me, I will never stop playing this game. [editline]asdfp[/editline] God dammit motherfuck shit. Inquisition is barely playable for me. At character creation. Why me. [editline]asdf[/editline] I managed to get it to a semi-tolerable framerate with a not-too-ridiculous amount of stuttering but it just crashes every few minutes anyways. So much fucking money down the drain for this piece of shit.
Why are all the current female romance options so ugly Who are the character designers? Are they some kind of eunuch or something Forgive the rudeness, but I must get this out of my chest
The only grip I have with the romance options is that an eterosexual male, as per every BioWare game, has the choice between a Betty and a Veronica, while a bisexual one can choose a wide array of love interests (if I'm not mistaken, Iron Bull, Dorian, Josephine, Cassandra, Cullen)
Scout Harding is the biggest heart-break. Spent the whole game flirting with her, she tells me to go find her when "this is all over" and then the action never takes place. What a bitch.
Hypothetically speaking, if I get the game to work, I'm probably not going to bother with any of the romances cause none of them seem particularly interesting to me.

You know dorian is the best romancable character anyway

The least they could've done is make her say "Sorry, not interested" so I wouldn't have bothered to try and romance her.
I'm on my third playthrough and I still haven't romanced anyone. I just can't get into them. Now friendships, those are awesome. That being said I'm surprised how limited are you options when you are a hetero man. Just Cass and Josephine. I'm not complaining, there are after all only 4 (5 with Harding) women in your group. Sera is gay (not that I would ever seriously romance her) and Leliana and Harding are not interested. Quick count of romances: straight romances - 6 (2M + 4F) gay romances - 4 (2M + 2F)

EXCUSE ME?
I made a female character :v: [editline]fads[/editline] So yeah I guess this game is just going to be completely unplayable for me, and I'll need to massively upgrade my only computer with money that I don't have at all. Serves me right for trying to continue playing a series I love! I hate everything.

Serves me right for trying to continue playing a series I love! I hate everything.
Computer upgrades are a bitch, much more expensive than a console for me so far. But it's worth it ofcourse. Just a tad dissapointed when a computer I bought for 1k in september last year doesn't fit the recommended specs of the witcher 3. Also I don't get all the hate towards sera. I mean, she's a childish, immature kid/teenager who is a blind zealot. But just because she's unlikeable doesn't mean she should be kicked out, imo. She's still a fun bit of content, that adds at least some very comic humor into the game, rather than be all serious banter or witty humor. I mean, content is content in my opinion, even if I don't agree with it from and ingame and out of game perspective. It's good to see quality content and I'll eat as much of it I can get. I dunno, maybe I'm biased. I came back from every main mission, sidequest, etc and each time fully checked every single dialogue tree of every single companion to see if there's new stuff because I wanted to get the most out of the game. I guess she doesn't bother if you've already chosen a romance, unlike that ever-nudging-to-get-in-your-pants-even-though-you're-straight Dorian.
Ugh, i hate the fact i still cant play becouse as soon there is a character close-up the game hangs, crashes my GPU and computer... Hopefully my new card ( Gtx 970 ) Handles it fine
Serves me right for trying to continue playing a series I love!
God forbid a game company expects you to change your computer after a decade.
I have a gtx 650 and amd phenom II quad core and i cant even run this game smoothly on the lowest settings (which btw look horrible). Guess i have to upgrade my gpu..I must be missing something tho, cos everywhere ive looked i should be able to run the game on medium settings. Gah, i dont know shit about computers lol. Sucks ass that i cant play the game now
Most enemies have a weakness to one of their spells, making it pretty easy to take them down/paralyze them in a situation that would otherwise be a little harder.
... however most of the "boss" or or scripted main mission encounters will have you go against enemies that are immune to pretty much everything magic AKA the actual hard parts of the game are annoying as piss if you've focused on a mage build and party relying on debuffs with one or two DPS pushers. Any mages you have for these boss encounters or main missions (except for a spirit mage that boosts allies) are basically worthless Keep in mind this is my experience before you get to spec. Guessing Knight Enchanter makes almost all of this irrelevant lol since your mage is now a tanky warrior (old post I know)
I miss Oghren.
I made a female character :v:
Makes me miss the bisexual brigade you had in DA2.
God forbid a game company expects you to change your computer after a decade.
Got my computer 2-3 years ago and it's already a useless piece of garbage. Gets a bit frustrating is all. Probably not fair to complain about games improving.

Romancing Blackwall just seems wrong. He seems way too fatherly.
Romancing Blackwall just seems wrong. He seems way too fatherly.
Not unless you're into that stuff. Ahh...
I really loved Blackwall's personal story. Really made me appreciate him a whole lot more. Before I was like "He's just a cool looking gruff dude, and being a Warden gets him bonus points in my book", but he didn't ring with me like the rest. But his story made him sooo much more interesting as a character. [Sp]Though they made it pretty obvious he wasn't a Warden when he mysteriously wasn't affected by the Calling like the rest were. That was a bit disappointing.[/sp]

Plus no Warden has such a romantic view of the world as he has, they're very hard, practical people by necessity.[/sp]
I love the cocky female voice set in Origins. The actress delivers a lot of the lines perfectly. She sounds genuinely frustrated when she says "Someone tell them to stop hitting me!" :v:
I will never get why people obsess about some characters. Cassandra, Iron Bull, Vivienne, Dorian, Cole and Varric are alright. Then people absolutely love Sera which I understand if she or her humor and attitude fit your nature. But then a lot of people obsess about Blackwall and I just found him "okay". Plus I knew his secret in a couple of minutes because I took him to a location where had a very poor excuse. Finally Solas. In a way I'm a bit disappointed, I thought he would be more wise and Vulcan but he's quite arrogant and sometimes high tempered. Again he's alright, but people are going crazy to the point where they call themselves Solasmancers and have their own subreddit.
I will never get why people obsess about some characters.
Because everyone has a different opinion.
I'm starting to realize that my character in Inquisition could be my "darkest" yet I'm about [sp]to seek the Templars' aid and leave the mages to their fate[/sp] even if I'm one myself just because I assume their order will be more suited to help me deal with the Breach On a second though, I think I'll contact the latters because, you know, there is this small matter of [sp]A FUCKING RIFT THREATENING THE TIME FLOW[/sp]
Because everyone has a different opinion.
Except for people who like Sera- they have personality disorders, not opinions.
