Anyone else finding [sp]Cassandra fangirling over Varric's "Swords and Shields" novels to be the funniest and the most adorable thing evar?[/sp] Another thing that me and the Inquisitor have in common? We both have horrible money management. Any "get rich quick" schemes?

Any "get rich quick" schemes?
If you don't mind chest farming (ie: leave at least one item/gold in the chest so it re-rolls when you leave the area) you can find the Cradle of Sulevin and just farm the hell out of the some 20 or so Tier 3 loot-containers that are in the dungeon. You'll frequently find weapons and armor that will sell between 400 - 3000 gold.
After so many attempts to create a good male looking human character in Inquisition I feel like everyone just ends up with a monkey face for some reason. It's really annoying me.

It's no rocket science to give yourself money.

I hope we eventually get mesh replacement mods... There's so many armors that I like the look of that either suck or aren't even available to the player...

Your scarf has texture to it? Even on Fade Touched it's like a solid color for me
Except for people who like Sera- they have personality disorders, not opinions.
Still a matter of opinion, also die.
Your scarf has texture to it? Even on Fade Touched it's like a solid color for me
Depends on the material you used to make it, no?
Your scarf has texture to it? Even on Fade Touched it's like a solid color for me
I checked and my settings for Textures are on Ultra, and honestly, I can't tell the difference between Ultra and Fade-Touched. I mean, what 'Fade-touched' does even mean?
Anyone having an issue with Femme Hawke's appearance? My game crashes when I choose default FemHawke or the convo. ends when I choose to customize.
I had this issue too. I had to restart from a save before [sp]Skyhold[/sp] and do everything over again.
I hope we eventually get mesh replacement mods... There's so many armors that I like the look of that either suck or aren't even available to the player...
Why not use cheatengine to get or edit items?

I feel like all the faces just feel more or less the same even when you spend a lot of time tinkering with the options. Sometimes I get weird monkey faces or the cheekbones are absurdly sharp and make it look absolutely weird.
Thinking about it now, it's odd how armors have had an almost complete reversal in design throughout the series DA:O had these ridiculously ornate armor with massive tank pauldrons, and in DA:I you're lucky if your armor even looks like armor at all, instead of some euphoric leather trenchcoat with a popped collar.
I've just beaten the game so I'm late to the party but for others who haven't seen it, somebody data-mined the game and found an explanation for the ending amongst the files. So here it is, what happened in that end cutscene:
[sp]Designer's Notes: This is Flemeth from the previous two games. In this game, Flemeth's story comes to a head -- she knew that Solas would summon her, and that he would need to steal her power to further his plans. She knew that because they are both elven gods...yet Solas has slept for a thousand years and his power dwindled, while she was killed long ago and a spark escaped from her into the body she now holds. She has nurtured that spark, and knew that Solas would need it. He was once her oldest friend, but she knows in his drive to save the elven people he will kill anyone -- even her. She intends to let him have the power, so long as she can pass the essence of her god-hood onto Morrigan, a gift Flemeth had always planned for her daughter yet one Morrigan misunderstood as hostile possession.[/sp]
So I'm guessing DA:IV will have [sp]Morrigan[/sp] in a major role? It seems [sp]Solas is gonna be the big bad. I'm guessing whoever you got to drink from the well will become Solas' henchman, maybe the person who didn't drink from the well will become a companion or advisor. It seems both Morrigan and The Inquisitor are set to return either way[/sp]

At least the ones that don't stop at your midriff for no reason. Way better than the mage robes and hats from Origins. In fact most of the armour in Origins was typical fantasy trash, at least in Inquisition the armour isn't all fucking plate. That shit is for the rich guys, or guys working for the rich guys. Ideally you would have the coats for mages and rogues, leather armour for rogues and soldiers, medium armour which mixes leather, chain mail, and plate where appropriate for soldiers, and plate armour for tanks. Bring back the fatigue system where you trade the ability to use skills for defence and vice versa. And scrap the robes and silly hats from Origins. They're dumb and I'm glad they're gone.
I much prefer the fashion of Thedas in Inquisition. I stood against the circles just to get mages out of wearing those awful compulsory gowns.
After 14 hours or so in, Inquisition is starting to show some issues, with various degrees of annoyance each. To better clarify: - The multiplayer is downright unplayable for me: as in, I can't even enter into a random match. I either loose connection to the session or manage to enter the match but I have to abandon it shortly afterwards (either the map doesn't load at all, my character remains locked in one place, I can't see the enemies and there is a lot of lag or the interface just doesn't show up) - Sometimes I experience the infamous DirectX crash. While I did get some before, they were exceptionally rare: now I'm on the constant fear they could happen. Thankfully, I managed to make them a rare event again by some steps (getting a visual plugin for Windows, not playing the game with Steam overlay or Steam in the backrgound, get the latest Nvidia drivers, ...). They still come without a warning and without me knowing exactly the cause - A couple of companions become literarly invisible from time to time. Thankfully, reloading the game makes them load completely and everything is fine - I'm experiencing arbitrary drops in fps. This is especially noticeable during cutscenes. I'll see tomorrow if it's a temporary thing or not. I don't dare to use the 60 fps trick because when I tried to pull it off the DirectX crashes increased TENFOLD. And you have to believe my word when I say that my rig is capable of handling the reccomended requirements and beyond

My usual quest group [sp](Dorian, Casandra, Varick)[/sp] wear them with pride.
IGN just gave it GOTY Not sure how I feel. I like it, but it has so many problems that sort of ruin the whole thing for me. Repeating faces Repeating art design Lack of detail in a lot of the art direction Rushed Val Royeaux Fetch quests The new dialogue system Lack of dialogue choices It's certainly a good game, but I can't find the will to get through it with all of this.
Yeah well it's IGN, they've been dumb too many times when rating games for me to take them serious on alot of things.
So I Googled "dragon age models" cause I wanted to fix a mesh and needed some info, and uh Uhhhh

Hey guys, I know I'm late to the party but I just got DA:I for about $31 from GMG - personally loved DA:O but I've been told by my friends to avoid DA2 because it gets really copy-pastey with the dungeons and apparently the plot/characters wasn't all too good? Just wanted to know, do I really need to play DA2 before I play DA:I to get some things or can I just do some googling and pick what I would think would be the best choices in the Keep?

Finished my super playthrough of DA:O and DA2 and now I'm on to DA:I. Been playing as female warriors and more specifically, Templars. Going to continue said trend into Inqusition. In terms of DA2 since it was my first time playing it.. Meh. I stayed for the story, the characters, and Aggressive Hawke making everything hilarious. My main issue is actually with Keep and it not giving you real context on the decisions you're making. I went back through after playing DA2 and completely switched around the decisions I made as a Templar compared to what I thought the decisions meant. I wish there was a way they could expand on the choices.
Ok, now I'm really starting to loose my shit First, Inquisition runs smoothly for me on all ultra (aside from very rare crashes). Then I reach In Your Heart Shall Burn and suddendly both gameplay and cutscenes are slowed to a crawl, forcing me to tinker with the graphical options to set the whole thing to high (save for some ultra touches, since I really enjoy ultra textures on at least the characters) Now the DirectX crashes are getting really out of hand: every cutscene I begin I fear will make my fucking game freeze and then crash Apparently, there is no remedy to this save for setting the whole game to PISSPOT QUALITY I'm really starting to think that buying Inquisition on the PS4 doesn't sound like a strange idea now

As it introduces a major character. But it's skippable. In general, your decisions in DA:O and DA:2 make virtually no impact on plot. Only lines of dialogue and codex. Did you kill X in DA:O? No worries, Y will fill in their role and deliver the exact same dialogue in the exact same way. The only thing that really changes the game is if you had the child with Morrigan in DA:O, even then the outcome is exactly the same, just a different path to get there. At one point in the game whoever you put on the throne in DA:I has a cameo, but regardless of who rules or what sort of personality they have, they still do the exact same thing. Characters become interchangeable. DA:2 is virtually useless, it only has a slight effect on a few lines of dialogue from DA:2 characters. The other slight thing it does (it's a really light spoiler to say): [sp] the character from DA2 appears (Hawke). But his/her appearance in DA2 isn't imported. Only his/her personality and class. You have to design him/her from scratch.[/sp] Read about the DA:2 plot and make the choices you like best in Keep. Just for dialogue and lore reasons really. Only the DA:O choices effect which characters cameo but even then, as said, it doesn't really matter as X will be replaced by Y or Z and still play the exact same role. The said- the decisions of DA:I are big. By the end the game the universe of Dragon Age can be very different and it leaves DA:4 in the position where they can't be ignored or retconned. On top of that at least two DA:O choices look like they will have a lasting impact on DA:4. For example it's not a spoiler to say very early on you choose between templars and mages. The decisions you make from that point can change things in two very drastic ways. Unless they just never mention templars and mages ever again and just explain it away in the codex like they've been doing so far.
