I've decided that my next Hawke will be Tony Hawke, a diplomatic Dagger Rogue.
Shit, now I have to play DA2 again.

Couldn't make his face thin enough, but I tried.
Dude, stop
Play other games, ok?

Never!
(Okay)
I probably wasn't actually going to finish the game again, I just couldn't help myself :v:
You want to taste other similar games from BioWare?
There are plenty, actually, like Knights of the Old Republic the first or even Jade Empire (but it's not everyone's cup of tea)
Playing Inquisition a second time...thinking about it, is anyone else disappointed that Bioware still hasn't learned to time their dialogue right? Big delays between certain lines as it waits for the animation to finish is the big one, but they STILL can't do group dialogue; people talk one after another instead of occasionally speaking over someone, interrupting someone, or laughing together. Best example is the Wicked Grace scene.
It's just...how are we still having that issue?

I think it has to be linked with their terrible animations. A lot of them are very robotic and probably same applies to scene setup.
Yeah, that always bothers me when someone interrupts somebody else, except the person that's interrupted just leaves off, and then there's a pause before the other person picks up.

It's not just bioware games that are guilty of this, but it is more obvious certainly.
Oh, that's definitely true. It's probably the amount of dialogue in an average Bioware game that makes it stand out.

So, uh, what the hell is supposed to be happening in the animation for Dark Sustenance from Warden's Keep? The Warden just starts floating and spraying blood everywhere and somehow that restores mana.

And then there were two champions. Now I just need the Warplate for Sten, and...
-Snip, I can't tell a game from another-
Well, I got Varterral's Fall. That was a major fucking pain. Ariane had to save our asses :v:

This cutscene remains my favorite from the whole game
The following level a bit less so (it could be related to Samsom serving my own ass on a silver plate several times)
Anyone else want Blood Magic back in Inquisition at some point? I'm really starting to like it ever since I started using it.
Maybe in a later DLC or something?
Please note that the Black Emporium is not part of the patch 5 release. Thanks to the excellent feedback we received from the people in our beta program, we are continuing to work on this feature.
Made this face replacement for a minor DA2 character because I couldn't take the original seriously.

Finally bought this and installing. Can't wait!
Holy shit this fucking game is amazing.
Again, it's stunningly beautiful at all times and the gameplay is just so fun and exciting!
Does anybody else here play on nightmare difficulty? The thrill of finally clutching that victory is unlike anything else, even if I have to replay that part about 10 times trying different strategies.
I'm doing the Elf Mage story, and the prologue was FANTASTIC! I clapped when you shook hands at the end of it.
Well alrighty then, I have 91% of DA2's achievements. Probably not going to bother actively attempting to get the rest.
Now I'm going to play something else before I need to be put in a straightjacket.
[sp]*Plays something else for 5 minutes and then plays Origins again*[/sp]

More boss fights need to end in gory curb-stompings, I think. :v:
Are there any general tips for a new player? Also, is it normal that, as a mage, even with a unique staff and at the same level, that my basic attacks do... well pretty much nothing?

As a mage you relay mostly on your spells for damaging: your auto-attacks become fairly powerful near the endgame if you really invest some care into crafting an unique staff
Alright, thus far I'm really liking it, but the UI is terrible, not having ability tool-tips is the worst, especially if you go into the power menu and it still doesn't have a description unless you go into the tech tree.
Made a replacement for Anders' Awakening ending slide.

Probably gonna do the same for the rest of the companions.
Your dedication to Dragon Age II is starting to verge on maniacal

I haven't played it lately, actually :v: I've been dicking around with modding, and I'm just doing the last of the origins and then putting these games the fuck down before I'm forced to chew my own hands off.
I'd kind of like to play Fallout 3 again, in spite of the fact that I hate it. So I'll probably do that.

Besides, I can't say that obsessing over something for an inordinate amount of time is something new for me. With games in particular, I can end up focusing on a single game or series for months at a time before I get sick of it. It was TES last time.
Hence the username. Yeah.

And I need to continue from where I last left off. Which was the introduction to Skyhold.
So there will be some ice and .... [sp]Solas[/sp]? How?
