I don't see people constantly regurgitation Witcher 3 quotes and scenes like i do with Undertale. Small portions of the Portal and Skyrim fanbases got shit for constantly repeating "The Cake is a Lie" and "I Took an Arrow to the Knee", that doesn't mean those are bad games.
I'm not angry that Undertale is popular, I'm angry that people just keep regurgitation jokes from it like Skyrim and Portal.
I'm hoping Bloodborne wins at least best Japanese game or RPG, that game was actually really amazing.
And I actually think Dying Light should win the "underrated" award. It is really well made and the devs do care a lot about its health. I never hear anyone talk about it, though.

It's to be expected when a fanbase is that large. Not saying its a good thing but its just obvious.
BTW I don't think undertale is the best game ever or anything like that. I think its "playing with the player" is better than anything else but that's about it.
I feel like best soundtrack should be broken up into best licensed soundtrack and best original soundtrack.

I don't see that happening with Undetale quotes and scenes either outside of places related to Undertale.
If I were [B]to play devil's advocate[/B], if your problem really has to do with regurgitating memes and inside jokes from a game then the Metal Gear fans do it worse. I don't want to come across as "finger-pointy" by saying that because I don't care who does it "worse"- none of it bothers me- but I see a lot more Rules of Nature edits and that sort of stuff all over these forums than I do Undertale stuff. People tend to not like things they don't understand but metal gear has been around for a very long time so people tend to get it more.

101% agree. Yatagarasu had some interest before it was released but when it came out nobody played it despite the fighting game community bitching about wanting a fighting game that goes back to the genre's roots at the time.
Definetly think Yatagarasu needs to win. The other games may be good but Yatagarasu was the type of game a lot of people wanted yet no one played despite it being almost everything the FGC wanted.

Honestly, I'm not. A lot of the levels lacked the great design the first one had (loadsawindows and a huge reliance on guns are two common complaints), and the story's conclusion is pretty damn unfulfilling. Which, while being the point, still doesn't really excuse it.
That said, I don't think it's bad, just didn't top the first one. Unless we're talking about the soundtrack.
Some of these choices don't make any sense to me like (I know I know) Undertale being in the technical blunder category.

Well the moved to two places, Steven Universe and Undertale. SU already pushed someone to try suicide. Undertale is a lot less terrible; but...yeah the porn is horrendous.
