Try using your controller, IMO stick > pad/controller > KB in terms of best peripherals for playing FGs.
Hell if you're lucky, you can even block argus agony's second part(the laserspam part) even if you get hit by the first part :v: at least you could back in the console version.

depends, some prefer pads for shotos, though if you're playing a character with 360+ moves and you're not Vangief, I'd recommend a stick :v:

I use my PS3 controller. Other than the BSODs I sometimes get from the crappy unofficial drivers(which I might've fixed), I'm very pleased with it. You should set it up to behave as a 360 controller.

I use the Motioninjoy program to get my controller to work. It also enables bluetooth functionality.

If you have a HAT POV switch, it works better than the actual stick since you exert less effort to move it

I noticed this, totally surprised that the default bindings are nearly perfect (sans the attack buttons)
joystick has plenty of buttons, more than enough for every action, so keyboard isn't necessary, but when I go to bind controls I always lose movement (even though it works fine in default settings)
maybe using some joystick binding software with teeny thresholds might work, so that tapping the stick in a dir triggers it fine

I can't time grapples at all. It's usually a coincidence if I manage to block them.
The AI in skullgirls will almost always block throws for me when I play on hard or higher.
