somebody give me a copy [editline]8th August 2013[/editline] i'm assuming it's only a beta key aka give it to me
You gotta preorder it.
why would i preorder for beta access when they just gave an extra beta key for people who backed the kickstarter
why would i preorder for beta access when they just gave an extra beta key for people who backed the kickstarter
You preorder so you can play the actual game once it's released, genius.
did i say i wanted to play the actual game once it's released? i said i wanted the beta dingus.
did i say i wanted to play the actual game once it's released? i said i wanted the beta dingus.
Wow it's like you're really still irked over the fact that you didn't get a beta key before, and now you assume if you're the biggest asshat, you'll get a chance at another. The real world is beckoning for you.
-nvm kind person at SA gave me a key
lol suddenly people asking for beta keys. Peacock is a zoning/long distance character right? With all the "george" moves it seems like she's meant to harass the enemy from across the screen rather than get up close and personal.
Yes you're supposed to use your range to your advantage. You asshole.
Yes you're supposed to use your range to your advantage. You asshole.
i knew that something felt familiar peacock feels a lot like suika ibuki from the touhou fighting games if you've ever played those of course this game is just flat out harder
Holy balls. I just completely murdered some poor guy. Him and I both chose one character me being Ms. Fortune and him being Double. He didn't even land a single hit on me both rounds. I feel so bad for that guy right now.

Holy shit I just did it to him again. The same exact guy. I really feel bad now
I can't really tell yet what Parasoul is supposed to be like in terms of fighting style but I like it. Napalm shot a few times and then mash the fucker's face in. I doin' it right?

a chain specifically means cancelling normals into each other
Just went against five different valentines in a row. They all used exactly the same combos.
Nothing wrong with using a tried and true combo.
It's the lack of variation that gets me. Nothing but Valentines playing.
Bunch of Ms. Fortunes for me. At least 5 in a row.
It's the lack of variation that gets me. Nothing but Valentines playing.
I hope you never play Street Fighter 4 cause probably half of the playerbase plays Ryu.
I'm playing it right now and I haven't seen one yet. [editline]8th August 2013[/editline] Spoke too soon.
I really oughta stop playing this till my stick gets back from being repaired. I do have a few I've won from random tournaments but those are too valuable to risk breaking. [editline]8th August 2013[/editline] Im getting way too used to keyboard controls
i have no stick or console controller. Didn't stop me from being good at darksouls, won't stop me now. It's just gonna take a while...
Yeah..... buy a controller.
A controller is highly recommended.
Eh, I'm on keyboard and having far fewer problems than with the xbox controller I tried at first. Having the proper button layout (WASD + UIOJKL + P; in this case) feels a lot better than mixing the face buttons and shoulder buttons / triggers on the controller. No problem with any moves either, with the exception of Cerebella's 360 blockbuster. I'll probably buy a fightstick later, but for now the keyboard is working fine. It is really important that the keyboard can handle the simultaneous keypresses though. If not that's a quick way to get frustrated. There's a ghosting test here that can help - just make sure every two-button combination works while holding the movement keys. On my keyboard for instance the default arrows + ASDZXC would prevent a lot of common combinations.
I suddenly feel bad for using Valentine as my main along with Cerabella.
I suddenly feel bad for using Valentine as my main along with Cerabella.
Atleast you're using a bit of variety. I'm just going Valentine.
Do you guys use the analog stick or D-Pad for moves that require quarter circle movement?
