Its actually not that bad on keyboard. You just have to get used to moving your hands in a weird way. Since I'm right handed I use the arrow keys to move and I find doing half circle forward moves are almost impossible when I'm on the left. I would suggest getting a controller or a fightstick though. You can find relatively cheap ones on amazon and then mod them with better parts.

Since I play fighting games fairly regularly, I was actually probably going to pick up one of the better fight sticks like a V3. It'll just take a bit of saving up.
Played 12 matches since I got this controller. Won 9 of them.
This one being the closest due to the person being desperate and spamming grab n shit.

It's not. It's pretty much Marvel without the bullshit.
You don't need to know your character's ranges, all of their hit confirms, favorite food and underwear color to be decent at them
Not saying SG is shallow but you don't need to know everything about your character to be decent at them.
So I might get this game. Is there any info on how much the DLC chars will cost, and is there an agreed upon tier list that I can look at?

it was my understanding that if you bought the game during beta you'd get all future DLC for free and access to the beta

It's not very different.
Some key features are that it's fairly balanced compared to other fighters.
If you're new to fighters it has a very intuitive tutorial system.
The character roster is pretty small compared to modern fighters, but that helps with balancing issues.
All the characters are very distinct from one another and play very differently.
Sexy characters with big boobs.
The game isn't as big of a deal as people make it out to be. It's just a decent fighter with a cult following.
If you hate fighters, this game certainly isn't going to change your mind. If you like fighters or are considering learning how to play fighting games, then you might want to consider this one.

Just get a cheap fightstick. It will work loads better than any controller will.
