Who even is going after the skullheart for wish granting reasons? Peacock, Valentine, Cerebella, Squigly, and Parasoul aren't. I haven't done double, painwheel or Ms fortune yet.
Painwheel is seeking freedom from Brain Drain, Ms Fortune wants to resurrect her late adoptive family, Double is acting under the will of a being more powerful than the Skullgirl under the guise of following Marie's orders.

I hate when peacock just spams her gun move. I CANT FUCKING DO SHIT OH GOD HELP
I got a friend to play with and I pretty much know everything about Squigly. It's just it feels like none of my MK and SF experience carried over here.
That's probably because the game has more in common with the MvC/Darkstalkers series with its magic series combos. If you're coming from SF/MK it's going to be a little tough getting used to how it plays (it's tough for me too, as I'm mainly a SF player).

Anybody else having issues with achievements displaying? It shows that I've earned one in my games library, but not on my profile page. [t]http://i.imgur.com/lkw3u9G.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/bjeVllb.png[/t]
Skullgirls has been released, so I'm removing keys from OP

So the beta has been renamed "Skullgirls ∞Endless Beta∞". Also a 17mb update for the main game and a 16mb update for the beta. [editline]23rd August 2013[/editline]
Is it just me or is the 2 pack showing as just "Skullgirls - Pack"? and it only gives me the option to purchase it for myself. Is this normal?
You can only purchase multipacks for yourself, it just gives you a bunch of gift copies upon purchase.
Ah okay, was just making sure so I didn't fuck up and only get one copy. I'm excited to play this.

So far I finished story mode with Filia, Parasoul and Valentine. Tried painwheel but for some reason when I got to the fight with filia she just kicked my ass super hard any I gave up because it was 3 AM.
Time to buy a controller :v:, I can only button mash because all the combos are impossible on a keyboard
Time to buy a controller :v:, I can only button mash because all the combos are impossible on a keyboard
The game is really optimized for arcade sticks though.
The game is really optimized for arcade sticks though.
Yeah this is impossible for a keyboard. I even grabbed my spare GC controller and that didn't even work either.
Multiplayer doesn't work for me. When I set ready and try to challenge someone else in a lobby nothing happens, I just get a gigantic window with "yes no" in it and that's it. Game crashed once while in a lobby and other times I got a challenge but the screen faded to black, music kept going and I was brought back to the lobby. Also everyone has 999ms.
If you have "yes no" then you are clicking on their names and the spectate/challenge features aren't even in so its a dummy menu, just go ready up and wait lol. 999ms is broken and if lobbies dont work just quick match

(although neither keyboards or pads are recommended for fighting games. if you must use a pad, try to get one with a decent d-pad, ie NOT the 360 pad.)

One of the only times where the arrow keys being how they are makes it slightly easier than if they were oriented like the arrows on the numpad.
enjoy [editline]23rd August 2013[/editline] how to play cerebella: pray you can hit your mp and then spam grab specials
360s aren't as bad as they first seem either. now, 720s suck. i still have no idea how to do them consistently. thankfully skullgirls doesn't have any 720 commands.

So I guess I'm just gonna button mash till I can drop 50$ on a stick.

Really I don't know how else those attacks can be botched unless the attack input is happening at the wrong time, the motion inputs is pretty easy to do and I'm awful at fighting games.
you're supposed to piano your fingers for inputs if you're using the keyboard. don't be like, "LET'S PRESS S, THEN PRESS SA, THEN PRESS A" no roll your fingers across the keys.

The only way I can get it to execute is spamming the keys and hoping it works. if you're doing it then you're not doing it correctly otherwise you wouldn't be having trouble with a simple fireball motion.
