I found that the best strategy to defeating Marie is to just constantly j.hp or j.hk while jumping over her. I'm actually surprised how quickly you can defeat her with Double, Peacock and Squigly using this method. I find Marie also attacks less if you constantly jump from each side of her.
Marie isnt even a real fight, just play Story on normal if you want to see the story. All you need to do is spam heavy attacks and Blockbusters.
In training mode my ai keeps jumping on manual mode. How do I make it stop doing that? Crouching mode works fine. Also everytime I start the game I have to press the ` key to accept my desired input.

Hori is generally pretty trustworthy. The Xbox one will DEFINITELY work on a PC, while the PS3 one probably will, so go for the Xbox one unless you own a PS3. They're $70 but frankly you can't go too much cheaper.

It's a MadCatz stick and it's supposed to be easily moddable so that's probably the best investment if you don't mind the art. (Which can be modded.)

Yeah, if you're that passionate about it chances are posting it would not only give you a platform to have your little geek-out sessions (no offense, just the closest wording I can find for what I wanna say), but chances are unless it was "SANIC ORIGIUNL CHRATER DONUT STEEL" quality in thought and effort then no one would hate on you for it.

I can't for the love of god have a fair fight against a Ms Fortune, she is far too fast for my Squigly, I can't do shit against her.
Punish her spinning kick thing (dunno what the move is called) and watch out for her jump in mix up. Don't forget you can damage the head.
Welp managed to start outplaying my friend by going Valentine/Filia, but dear god her kick/jump combos are annoying.
J.HK -> S.LP -> S.HP.HP -> DB cancel -> S.LP -> S.HP.HP -> Draugen Punch (charged) -> QCB MK+HK super -> Scorpion grapple -> HK Fallen Woman -> C.MK -> S.HK -> J.LP -> J.MK -> J.HK -> C.LK -> S.HP.HP -> HP Drag n' Bite -> QCB LK+MK super -> walk forward -> C.MP -> S.HP.HP -> HP Drag n' Bite
The only real optimization I've done to this combo was making sure that nothing triggers Infinite Detection, so it's probably not very viable.
But still, Squigly is fun

Yeah, I don't know the game very well, but It's not like I'm pissy about Peacock spam or anything like that. It's just that the Bella assist hits you from anywhere on-screen and can be spammed out as soon as she's off the stage again. Mix that with the miles of blockstun Peacock puts you in, and you've got a grade A team right there.
That's why I can't wait for Big Band since he's getting a SF3 style parry which I can use to get through stupid chip-out antics.
Hornet Bomber has already been nerfed before.
It's no longer as good as it once was.
