Valentine is almost way too strong compared to other champions. Wouldn't be surprised if she got banned in pro circuits at some point.
Also Cerebella cleavage beats Valentine cleavage, fight me
Skullgirls isn't league of legends, and the FGC aren't pussies that ban characters we don't like unless they're completely broken, which RARELY happens.
Heh I knew someone would nitpick him calling them champions :v:.
It's too early to formulate a real tier list. At worst if a FG heavily favors certain characters then it just means only those characters will be picked. In 3rd Strike everyone just plays Chun/Yun/Ken.

I still stand by Tager being completely broken in BlazBlue. ONE TOUCH DEATH COMBOS START OF EVERY ROUND
That aside, I'm going to be picking up a 4-pack with some other folks fairly soon, so I'll actually HAVE the game.
Valentine is almost way too strong compared to other characters (why did I say champions to begin with). Wouldn't be surprised if she got banned in pro circuits at some point.

But Valentine's whole point is that she makes up for her low damage moves with her speed. She's only overpowered if you know how to combo with her and you can basically say the same thing for every character in the game.
Also Valentine has canonically biggest boobage, Cerebella isn't even second best (Parasoul). There's official measurements on their character bios :v:
Funnily enough the pass phrase to control Painwheel is Valentine's measurements. 36E-25-40.

Tager is a shit version of Potemkin because people were crying on Potemkin's damage and matchups in GG. He's not broken at all and totally unreliable in his current state. You're surely making critical yet easily avoidable mistakes when attacking him and are rewarded with easy ultras and magnetic combos.
He's getting largely buffed in Chronophantasma in an attempt to make a less flawed character out of him, so you'd better step up your game.
Squigly is such a strange character to play.

I'll admit that I can never time Throw Escapes well enough.

Yeah but cerebella's got a better outfit.
Also cerebella does not randomly implode to get out of infinity combos.

Also I can't find the contributor npcs anymore, did they (re)move them ?

Fuckin wow.
First all that whining for their money back because their waifu characters didn't win and now this.
Man I don't know how to be good at fighting games. All I can do is button mash. How do you even manage to react quickly enough and know which button to press and which move to make?

It comes with experience. You'll learn to recognize how to defend against a mixup based on what moves will chain together and how to make mixups yourself.
I played for hours getting my ass handed to me and last night I went 6 for 6 against my friend who plays Street Fighter regularly. The previous time we had a spar I went 0 for 10. Improvement, yo.
Another thing to note, be patient. Getting your ass handed to you shouldn't be a ragequit moment, use it as a time to reflect on how you could have defended better. In fighting games, avoiding/minimizing damage to you is just as important as dealing damage.

Add me as well, please, I love fighting games and would like to improve considering I'm pretty fresh to the Genre. Steam is under my avatar.

I know that I am a beginner but 57 hit combo. Goddamn.

Ahh. Just like how i started playing Fighting games. I SUCKED at them and i had to resort to the Cheap characters [V-13 in BlazBlue, etc] But then when i got KOF, I sat down and got good. While I may not have Skullgirls in PC, I can tell you that with experence. You can get good and Might be able to get to the Big Leagues. We all started sucking at 1 point. It's Natural. (Sorry if this post counts as Shit Posting.)

Let me stop you there and ask how getting a 57 hit combo with any character(s) isn't a pretty damned decent feat?
I also wasn't under the impression that Cerebella/Filia duos were cheap. If you're good enough at any game, you'll work around anything people throw at you.
Is there a place where I can get all the trading card art in wallpaper size ?

I'd love to play BB, but I just have this awful feeling that he'll be BAND from every tournament!
[sp]I'll sew my mouth shut now[/sp]
Apparently better DS3 or ds3tool is making my computer Blue screen. And it doesnt do that, my controller starts not responding mid fight. Fun :suicide:
Considering how massive Big Band is I wonder how he'll play. The fact he's armless it also something that puzzles me.
Playing a match with two cerebellas is already a clusterfuck onscreen, I can't imagine what it'll become with two big bands.
