In Street Fighter 4 the final boss stole moves from certain other fighters which makes him a jack of all trades. In multiplayer he's balanced by having the lowest HP in the game but in arcade mode he has one of the highest. On top of that in SF4 the CPU reads your inputs, it's a recipe for rage. But no, it would be silly to play this game for the SP alone. Fighting games are multiplayer games. Most of the fun is from outwitting your opponents which can't be done against the CPU.

Marie is a good boss imo because she has her own physics and thus her AI can't be looped. You may be able to force her into summoning huge skeletons repeatedly but you can't really stop her attacking and moving. People often complain about SNK bosses being insanely powerful but once you find how to loop their AI they are total shit. And there's worse than SNK bosses. In Ougon there's an hidden boss who is a buffed version of a disgustingly overpowered character with fast health regen, life drain, max meter when round begins, meter drain, all hits are counter, faster guard break, stuns when grab hits, automatic guard, is a fucking bitch and I don't remember all the buffs [video=youtube;cBB6IPfpu0s]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBB6IPfpu0s[/video]

Christ this game has the greatest atmosphere I've seen in some time. AMAZING music and artstyle. Now I just have to learn how to play this! I've never played a fighting game seriously in my life!

I've seen so many newbies who rage quit because they refuse to learn. Had some dude who ran into the Skullgirls Oceanic steam group chat, we told him to do the tutorials, he couldn't figure out how to do a Blockbuster and rage quit.

I guess spectator mode does what it does. It doesn't show you the character select screen though. It just shows you the lobby and when the game is actually about to start only then will it load up the match.

I was trying to do the final move in Tutorial 3-4 yesterday, and I can't seem to get the hang of it yet. You have to do an 8-button combo, followed by a Hairball and Gregor Sampson, both of which require the analog stick (I'm using a gamepad). The 8-button combo is easy, but not the last 2 special moves. I'll give it another try today. If I was able to get semi-decent at RTS's by practicing, surely I can do the same with fighting games. I really wanna see how well I can get at this.
I did that with keyboard because I use that. What gamepad do you use?

You just have to do the QCF (Quarter circle forward) motion down. It's not too hard once you get used to it. I usually take my Skullgirls discussion to the [url=http://skullgirls.com/forums/index.php]official forums[/url] or to chat rooms.

So I finished all the story arcs, and Steam is still convinced I need to finish one more for my achievement. ...Time to replay half of them, I suppose. Good thing they're relatively short. :v:
