set your region to Africa or the Pacific, search only your region and coordinate over voice chat, it doesn't take long to connect to a friend that way

How are the matches scored when the opponent disconnects?

From my experience in fighting games, especially Blazblue, that's actually fairly easy, You just have to keep trying until you get the mechanics down to muscle memory. Does it take a while? Yes. Is it worth it? Sort of. It's more the feeling of accomplishment that comes with doing long strings of attacks in a combo.
Also, a decent portion of that is a Revolver combo, which means you just go around the controller. You only really need to worry about the jump and the specials.

well i'm using my keyboard, also i already have that in my muscle memory, however the samson doesn't register for some reason, probably because i need to press some key a little later or earlier and i CBA to find out

they're quite nice for people used to pads that don't want to invest in a stick, but in my experience they're rather fragile. the rubber under the d-pad in mine lasted about 3 months and then it stuck constantly.

also what in the hell are the controls for keyboard users? I cant figure them out at all. All I know is arrow keys for movement, and 4 and 1 for selecting things. I want to change the controls but it keeps making my change controls for player 2 when I dont even have 2 players on my computer?

Are you pressing two kick buttons at the exact same time instead of pressing one twice? I had trouble pulling it off at first since the tutorial instructions weren't too clear on it.

That's very odd. The main game shouldn't be playable yet since it releases on 22nd August. The Beta is playable though but Story mode was taken out recently. I heard this might be because of the publishers decision and Mike (the director) didn't like this but couldn't argue much against them.
Is this game worth buying when it's released?

That's not even the hardest :v:
For that combo I found that rubbing from one button to the next on the controller (X, A, B) in one motion can make a big difference in helping.

yeah, it's gone because they're giving out free beta keys. hopefully they'll add an alternative for people who are really fucking awful at fighting games like me
I get story mode but why take out arcade mode? I really want to play and online is full of people who know what to do.

my friend showed me his street fighter setup (wasd for movement, numpad for attacks), so i tried to bind that for player 2, but for some reason half of the keys i wanted to use didn't work, even with numlock on, and the other half bound to player 1 for some reason? pressing escape to go back in the bindings didn't do anything either, it just closed out of the player 1 binding menu
not to mention that the controls menu doesn't tell you what the controls are at all. i mean, i'm already used to the gamepad controls, but i have no idea what the keyboard controls are. would be nice if there was a simple "G = light kick"
