She's very good but other characters also have very easy ways to get in on her so watch out. For example Valentine's Scalpels can punish you for doing moves at the wrong time, score a knockdown and close in. Also she can abuse her vertical jumps and go completely over all of your shit, air dash and j.mk. Cerebella can use Reflect, Eliza will have her s.HK etc.
Parasoul does terribly against Peacock though.
I've been running Fortune/Cerebella and it's fun.
Go get Eliza for free while you can.

It is shame that after you use Albus to grapple throw enemy you can't grapple them in midair, or at least I can't manage to pull that off.
also the gehenna stage from her story mode is creepy

eliza's story is probably my favourite one now
The newer the char the more interesting story, makes you wonder if they are going to polish older ones in future updates.
I'm debating waiting for a sale to pick this up. I finally played it a friend's a few weeks ago and loved it. I know 15 dollars is nothing, but I also want all the DLC.
The head with the blood sea reminds me a lot to the landscape at the end of End of Evangelion. I wonder if it is a reference.
I wonder too if the organic parts of the level are also a reference to the final boss fight level of DarkStalkers...

IIRC, someone on the devteam said we wouldn't have the game's "true" story mode until Black Dahlia, Marie, and one other character (I think it was umbrella?) are all playable; so I'm expecting a second wave of new characters eventually. [Side note here, I'd love to play as Annie.]
That was the creator himself, Alex Ahad. Their next game is something completely different. There won't be another wave, who knows they might return to Skullgirls after their current game but don't hold your breath.

The game isn't going anywhere? If you like the game then play it. The game has more players than it used to if you look at the player stats.
As long they add Black Dahlia, I'll be settled to play Skullgirls for a long while.
But for now i'm more interested in the new game.
