Is it possible to 'farm' insight in bloodborne?
I ask cause I want to buy a couple of the sets from the insight vendor and if I'm having trouble with bosses I'll often summon npc/player help.

I think so, the only way I know is to help other people defeat bosses. As well as getting Blood Echoes you get Insight I think.
Im getting real sick and tired of random NPC hunters with 2000+ health that 2 shot you

Sadly the dungeons are the better way to farm, 2 insight per win each boss although you can repeat Isz chalices since they probably have higher chance to get madman knowledge loot if i'm not mistaken.
Man, I can't get over of how my character looks so nice.
Definitely not losing to those Cairnhurst ladies
Am I right guys?
GUYS?

I'm not having a good experience trying to get the rakuyo on NG+

Even with shaman blades
well, im pretty sure im about to fight the final boss but i havent done the DLC areas yet. what is the recommended level?

Pretty much endgame. If the hunters dream has dramatically changed(and it'll be really obvious what I mean), now would be a good time to do it, or you can wait until NG+ to do it.
TOH feels like something extra though. If it were mass effect 2, it would make sense to do it after the storyline like lair of the shadow broker or the arrival but you don't exactly get that option in BB
Boy you just can't escape Undertale anywhere can you.
You talk like Undertale is on the same level as pony shit. And I guess I live under a rock 'cuz I generally never see Undertale content be posted outside the UT thread.
as someone who likes undertale i can safely say that undertales fanbase is approaching the level of aggressive fanboyism that bronies have
I highly doubt that.
Anyways, back on topic

Try other forums. For example I go on reddit, see some post vaguely related to skeletons, rats, spaghetti, cheese, the word determination, closet homosexual knights, cows/goats, mothers, trashcans and ultimately dogs and there's like 50 fucking Undertale posts. It was pretty smart & memetic game but damn, it is not worth this much praise.
I hope we get more stanced gestures like the sit one from BB. Maybe one for the little Prayer gesture or those ones where you kneel & give praise.

It's fucking dumb tho. What does O&S have to do with dog meme? Like atleast the ones about Space Jam make sense since S does that little jump dunk thing, this is just straight up unadulterated memetic frenzy.
the UT dogs aren't shiba inus. they're pomeranians. you fight a giant one and a smaller one, both wearing armor, so the crossover is permissible

Because there's a dog in a fuckhuge suit of armor like Smough and a dog in a smaller suit of armor like Ornstein, I could see it. Its not even intrusive or anything its just art...
Can someone explain to me how exactly magic works in the first Dark Souls?
It's n-not like I'm installing the game or a-anything

It's like a gun
You equip the gun (Sorcerer's Catalyst, Pyromancer's Flame and the Talismans) and then you attune ammunition
You can improve your magic by increasing specific stats (Catalysts for instance scale with Intelligence) and by improving your equipment (such as upgrading your Pyromancer's flame)
p.s. I should totally add you on Steam so we can totally play Dark Souls together

Bought the old hunters last night, still haven't gotten around to playing it. Should I start a new character? And what level is best to go in at?

Honestly, starting The Old Hunters on level 55 is asking for it, I'd advise him to level up far more first
i have nowhere else to go other than to fight the final boss
[editline]2nd January 2016[/editline]
i guess i can do chalice dungeons in the meantime, it didnt seem like they rack up too many echoes but still
