also kill all the spiders before going near her and try to keep her in vision, her attacks are very telegraphed if you look at her movement

If you join the Confederates, you can get two NPC hunters to help. One hidden behind a tree on your way from the lantern to the right shortcut gate and one near the circle of comfy sofas inside on the 2nd floor. They are super good at drawing fire when she is hostile, but help them with the first spider wave cause they can get two shot by the little bastards. I ended up going and toughing out DLC Land to get the Whirlygig Saw so I could grind up some celestial grub meat.

Keep close to that Byrgenworth spider to prevent her from casting meteor. Her other attacks can be evaded fairly easily. Thin out the little ones while you're at it

god i hate roms boss fight. it feels like such lazy design in a game that otherwise feels so creative

I personally think the mini spiders having so much damage even at NG is the lazy part of it plus they have reduced damage on their head, making the most annoying spiders that Fromsoft created. At least bless Beast Blood Pellet and broken Beast Claws for pre build up

Rom isn't a fun fight. All the other fights keep you on your toes, for Rom you just have to run when meteor is cast

I'm currently past level 10 Even considering that I got an habit with Bloodborne, which many describe as a more aggression-oriented and fast paced Dark Souls, this game has many elements that are slowly starting to piss me off, even if I'm doing fairly well at the whole thing The two most dangerous things I have yet to cope with are consuming flasks, which actually forces your character stop in his/her track and makes you a sitting duck for three seconds flat (and the enemy AI cheese it for all its worth) and enemies being literarly RELENTLESS anytime, something that forces me to kill ALL of them again every time I respawn (which happens fairly often) and I never had to do in Bloodborne [editline]Today[/editline] I'm also assuming that fat armored bastard with a huge cleave or something on the base of the tower of the Undead Bourg, who can spread me on the floor like I was butter on bread, will be best delayed to a later point in the game, yes?

I only died to them when I went to help someone fight them. I feel stupid for it too but one of them got lucky. I was the only one with the sense to visceral attack during the meteors so I could take advantage of the invincibility(and free health and bullets)

Bloodborne has a lot more content than I thought. After beating the game I've been looking at wikis and I missed so many items, side quests, and areas. I even did all the bosses in the game aside from chalice dungeon ones.
