Beat Demon's Souls again. I wish there was a Demon's Souls 2, or just Demon's Souls DLC was released way back when. My favorite game of all time is too short and too unloved. :( [editline]28th September 2015[/editline] Also this is very interesting Fuck his whole channel is interesting https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoprCp_dO4lrcIj2XOM39Hw Check out all them hacked Demon's Souls videos
Are you sure? I had Solaire die during the gaping dragon fight and he still showed up later.
In DS, you don't even have to summon an NPC to progress their story. You merely talk to them and then progress to the point where they move. In DS2, you do have to get them through boss fights alive. It's annoying as hell cause they're all really, really dumb.
I started playing bloodborne and got to the cleric beast, on my first try I had him to 3% with no vials left then he does his bullshit instant sideswipe attack and I'm feeling the souls burn fuck whoever made that attack so fast
All the bosses are super fast, the only way to win is to be faster than them. Hammer the shit out of that quickstep button.

I thought there were at least one or two summons that make gear show up somewhere else but I guess I'm just confused because of leroy. And yeah, it stinks. Good thing it looks like they've learned their lesson with bloodborne. I was always confused why she never showed up at the final shack.
I just met Andre for the first time. Should I bother upgrading my early equipment that don't seem like they'll be good hours from now (stuff like the longsword, claymore that I can't even use yet, and the battle axe), or just come back when I get better stuff?
pick a weapon and get it to +5. you'll be glad when you're killing the regular monsters up ahead in 1 to 3 strikes

To check the scaling on a weapon, hover over it in the weapon select menu and then press x (assuming you are using an xbox controller). The letters on the bottom left side tell you the scaling.

Also, upgrading your weapons is more important than leveling in most cases.

Both stances have a light slash and stab strong attack, which is nice. the biggest thing about weapons is scaling is VERY important, but the most important thing is to find the weapon that 'feels you'. Find a weapon with great scaling; but the perfect moveset. For me it's the Zweihander, I absolutely adore everything about it. In souls 1 I stick to the longsword and claymore.

I just really liked how it felt.

is it worth it to pick up das2 i played all the other souls games(and bloodborne) besides it and everyone who has played it has told me "it's disappointing" or as my friend has told me "It's fucking shit, god damn why do I keep playing it. Fucking 200 hours."(could have been more i don't remember)(said as he went back to playing it)

DaS2 isn't entirely bad. It's different with mechanics and some areas / enemies are bullshit (Iron Keep pre-Smelter area, enemies with 360-degree constant tracking, hitboxes as usual). The music in general has a darker tone (Not too many fast-paced or mystical songs like Bull Demon / Iron Golem or Seeth), it still has some awesome weapons and spells, the DLC areas are awesome, and it still keeps gaming masochism alive as you'd expect from a Souls game.
I don't like the Zweihander in Dark Souls 2, and almost all of the great/ultraswords. Their strong attacks usually have a time/stamina wasting flashy combo, while in Dark Souls you just did overhead swings.

But it pays off in huge damage. I suggest to everyone try to get used to an UGS in 2 just for the sake of having more types of weapons maxed out. It's handy to have the right tools for different enemies.
So yeah, been playing Dark Souls for a while, mostly dying and getting frustrated at simple things because modern times made me lazy, but after 18 hours I'm finally getting close to the second bell. Have some random screenshots: [img_thumb]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/429323213599068631/61676DE354CB71D6B63379D7AF711D54CE75ACBD/[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/429323213599156577/FACA03D9D95FE8FD46FEB13D9DAE6CF84C7D2148/[/img_thumb] Dark Souls is quite the experience. Also I now realize how dark everything looks, perfect for the title if you ask me.
your fashion souls needs serious work
your fashion souls needs serious work
his lack of fashion will destroy him
Fashion Soul's feels like it has a psychological effect. You look like a badass, you feel like a badass and then perform better with the added confidence.
Fashion Soul's feels like it has a psychological effect. You look like a badass, you feel like a badass and then perform better with the added confidence.
Only to die horribly later on
If you're not dying horrible, though, are you really playing Dark Souls?
Only to die horribly later on
because if you wear armor you'll die peacefully in your sleep in souls, right? [editline]29th September 2015[/editline] wrong, armor is a weakness, it only slows your abs down from blinding the enemy a true souls player knows that the pecs of a god will deflect enemy strikes
What is fashion and how do I do that? But yeah, right now I'm still using the chain set I got from the trader you find on your way to the Taurus Demon and the Gargoyle Helm I got from the Bell Gargoyles fight. I recently switched my Bastard Sword for Iaito which so far works well. Also Spider Shield just because it's a good option in Blighttown.
fashion is wearing clothes that look good together and keep your equipment load below 25%. ignore all of their stats except for poise because they're only marginally effective in mitigating damage. just find what looks swank fashion also means avoiding the gargoyle helm like the plague. yuck

As long as your guy looks good it doesn't matter.
Armor stats definitely aren't pointless, having good defence goes a very long way, especially in PvP. If you're not around at least 300 defence in end game PvP you're gonna get destroyed. Also, being under 25% equip load is only good if you're good at dodging. Let the guy play the way he wants to.
is it worth it to pick up das2 i played all the other souls games(and bloodborne) besides it and everyone who has played it has told me "it's disappointing" or as my friend has told me "It's fucking shit, god damn why do I keep playing it. It just feels totally different to play, and has some conflicting design decisions.
Remember though. With fashion souls, color coordination comes first.
