I literally want to fuck this woman
She had what I can only assume were a bilion of health points and tanked Quilaag for the whole fight, allowing me to finally beat her and leave Blighttown
Also, while I can somehow agree that the design of everything in Dark Souls is something peculiar, this ... thing

is just silly
don't be jelly of the fleshstache

I thought he looked familiar
Frampt really threw me a hell of a curveball when I first saw him. When I first heard about him, I was expecting some human NPC like crestfallen or whatever. I really wasn't expecting... that.

I can understand that.
She wears a grocery bag on her head, but still looks better than your Bloodborne character.

It took me at least 30-40 tries to get this asshole, and at least 10 of those times were like in your video... First phase is easy peasy. Second phase is UGH. I find that it's better to fight him on the water. It's totally flat, non-distracting terrain, and his lightning attack comes from the coast, so it's easier to avoid that BS when you're wading in the ocean. And don't worry about falling off some ledge into a watery abyss, either; there's a lot of room there, and there's an invisible wall at the end.
When he throws the scattering bombs, make sure that you're a significant distance away, or else you'll get hit by them all at once and die instantly (as seen in your video). When you avoid the scatterbombs, there's a very good chance that he'll jump to another position and throw them one more time, so be careful about that. He obviously moves faster than you, so save your stamina and let him close the distance with one of his moves, dodge, punish, repeat. His close range moves just require really tight dodge timing. I preferred locking on and quickstepping, but I don't know if that's actually better or not.
The only move that I just don't know how to deal with is the one where he flies into the air (usually off-screen) and throws the bombs that erupt out of the ground in straight lines. I guess get far away and hope to Oedon that one of them doesn't land on you? :v:
For me it took just about 4 with Beast Claws and stopped using those and went with a straightsword :v:

I'm getting Playstation Plus soon, and I'll gut your sugoi anime girl shit like a fish, for all the world to see

Well, I avoided to see because I expected to be slowed down or fall off. Guess it really helps. Anyway I beat him tonight, so worth it. I took me at least 70 tries, never been stuck like this in a game for years.
I just lost 13k souls. First big loss.
But entirely my fault. Could've warped back to the bonfire but I triggered more mosquitos and their whole family (I fell at the bottom of Blighttown poison water)
Aside from the sucker punches DS games throws at you, any other death is most entirely the player's fault. I like it when a game makes me improve by making mistakes.

Dark Souls in a nutshell
The only time Dark Souls cheated me was spawning in the button of the trap at the entrance of Sen's Fortress after I finished helping a friend clear the area. It got me by surprise so I got killed. I was okay with that since I spawned in the bonfire close the fortress, the problem was I couldn't find my lost souls. Not sure if it was a bug or I was plain blind.
So uh, you know how perfection is an unrealistic standard, right?
You can tell that to the damn Defiled Chalice, where you die by the bosses in a single hit. I finally killed the Keeper of the Old Lords and all that fire spam. I hear that the last boss in this one is Amygdala... I just want to get to Pthumeru Ihyll...
I have since stopped reading Lovecraft.
Instead I listen to Lovecraft audiobooks while I grind in bloodborne

13k is an insanely low amount, you'll soon learn
I lost 50k Echoes in Bloodborne yesterday in Yahar'gul
A pitchfork guy shoved me off a ledge right into the fist of a Brick Troll
That's when I stopped for the night
I've never really had any super bullshit deaths like that aside from being cornered with no escape and when OoK hit me twice with the same lightning strike which shouldn't even be possible.
I've learned to not cry over lost blood. You just have to let that shit go.

I am prepared to lose even more later on. The chunk I lost was near what I assume is a spider nest with three huge boulder dudes (or the Dungies as I nicknamed them). I have yet to ring the 2nd bell, assuming it's close to where I am.
i once lost 10 humanity and (i think) over 400k
So has anyone tried the reiterpallasch/threaded cane build? I read that it allows you to deal with all situations but I don't see how being able to fire from the right hand would help outside of tricking someone in pvp
Everyone talking about bullshit deaths when they should really be called

I use this

I wish you could mod sound in the game to replace the death sound with this:

FINALLY beat O&S, fucking hell, that was first very stressful, then VERY rewarding [sp]great chest ahead[/sp]
Just after I fought Sif and wrecked him in one try with on estus.
Would anyone be interested in watching me do a ng+7, perma gravelord, weapon swap run? I'm not looking to break records, I'm looking to break my spirit. :v:
tbh ng+7 perma gravelord sounds like a speedrun waiting to happen
tbh ng+7 perma gravelord sounds like a speedrun waiting to happen
I'm not lobosjr, so expect at least a 20hr run without all bosses.
I've never once fought priscilla I've always just strolled right past her cuz I can't stand being in painted world

She's not really a hard fight though, basically free souls. I agree on hating Painted World though.
