Why don't you just ask one of us for help if you need it that bad?
As much as I'd like to take advantage of this kindness, the good Samaritan would have to wait for me to get summoned by someone, defeat the boss and THEN me summoning him
As much as I'd like to take advantage of this kindness, the good Samaritan would have to wait for me to get summoned by someone, defeat the boss and THEN me summoning him
so what we've all got time to waste if we're offering our help
As much as I'd like to take advantage of this kindness, the good Samaritan would have to wait for me to get summoned by someone, defeat the boss and THEN me summoning him
You could head back to the Undead Parish and farm the rats for humanity items, shouldn't really take too many runs to get a least a handful. If all else fails, you could probably also take them on solo with a +10 weapon, assuming you still have large shards from Sen's Fortress after upgrading your chestpiece. The Giant Blacksmith sells them as well, you might not have to do a lot of farming for souls if you still have consumable soul items in your inventory. The jump in damage would make it loads easier for you since you're used to taking them on with a +5 weapon. [editline]17th January 2016[/editline] What level are you anyway? I might have a character in appropriate range, I just got past Anor Londo on a character I've been streaming.
I'm currently level 60 or so Basically, defeating Ornstein and Smough four times for other people granted me several souls
If you're planning to run a fire build in Bloodborne, please lower the volume of the enemies in the DLC, I just can't stop laughing
I'm currently level 60 or so Basically, defeating Ornstein and Smough four times for other people granted me several souls
I have an SL47 build that has the entire game completed, I'm within range if you still need help.
I was making Seath so much harder than I needed to. Some resin and patients made the fight longer, but sooo much easier.
Add me on Steam if you like I'm on the verge of deleting the game, I'm ready for everything at this point
I'll put my sign near solaire's if you want look for the onion :ok:
I'll put my sign near solaire's if you want look for the onion :ok:
I was killed by an onion with a huge flaming mallet today, now that I think about it
Added you both, a third blade can never hurt EDIT : something tells me Nidhogg is quite unfriendly :v:
Elia already gave up trying to get a humanity, so it'll have to be another time.
Elia already gave up trying to get a humanity, so it'll have to be another time.
Hey, I said I'm working on it, I didn't want to waste your time
two-handed spears are great in ds1 winged spear and silver knight spear are my weaponfus they weren't that enjoyable in ds2 though
What? Have you tried the basic Spear in DS2? That two handed R2 moveset is crazytown. One strike attack that is guaranteed to deal insane damage thanks to Strike being broken then a insanely fast thrust followup with huge range. Love it. Also Fume Knight setup is surprisingly viable and fun to use. Use offhand to stun or finish off enemies while your main hand UGS deals most of the damage and sets up combos.
Also UGS Fume Sword has a block and heavy swing as special attack, it's crazy. Meanwhile i can't get enough of this
1:09 "Speed" I lose it at that part every time [editline]17th January 2016[/editline] Watch in 0.5 speed for a more accurate representation of the playthrough.
late, but this is the single best music transition i have ever heard in a video game around 4:15
Ludwig's music is amazing, but I still can't enough of Ebrietas' theme. Something about it is just so amazing to me. The first minute is so unexpectedly wondrous and divine sounding and it just get progressively more lamenting as the rest of the piece goes on. And the last minute or so takes my breath away each time.
god the souls series has the fucking best OSTs its time to listen to them all again

Of all the characters I have, the one that uses the Zweihander is the one getting all the invasions. I feel cheap using a weapon that kills most invaders with 2-3 hits. Like all I have to do is for them make a move and then eat the sword. But in the bright side it feels good demolish most creatures without any effort.

Most invaders are metagaming cowards who aren't much fun to fight otherwise.
I invaded some guy who was only doing 2-3 damage against the Silver Knights with a Zweihander. I don't think he was swinging slow, so he was definitely able to wield it in one hand.
Don't feel too bad. All of them so far were polite, they wait for me to finish the enemies before attacking also they bowed. At least I gave them humanity before fighting to make it worth it.

They end up leaving instead of fighting :v:
I'm fucking tired of helping other people defeat Smough and Ornstein, gain humanity and then being killed by an invading NG+++++++++ player in one hit and going back to square one
If I remember correctly you can only be invaded by people of lower level than you.
If I remember correctly you can only be invaded by people of lower level than you.
Nah, they can be slightly higher. The equation (as the invader) is 10 minus a tenth of your SL, and then infinitely upward. A level 50 can invade a level 35 all the way up to 713.

You can only reach 35 if you let yourself get summoned via the Red Sign Soapstone.
I noticed that Dark Souls 2 has a minor version of Sword Arts available. IIRC swordarts in DS3 are triggered by using the parry button, and in DS2 some weapons in the normal game and tons of the weapons in the DLC have attacks bound to the parry key. It's neat
Spears are fine for PvE. In general, everything is viable in PvE with the exception of something that's blatantly not a functional weapon, stuff like broken sword hilts and the like. And people will still try to make those work.
I saw a guy take down no-Soul Vendrick with a broken ladel.
