I need to play again,it's been a while.
WHY ISNT DARK SOULS 3 OUT
Would you believe that I've never seen Gehrman sleeping behind the chapel in the Hunter's Dream and heard him mumbling about Laurence whenever he's not inside? I'd replay Bloodborne to death if I could
I was watching a stream of a 1st run of a dude in DS2. He was in the Gutter and got invaded. He decided to just ignore him until they reach a bridge where the invader just stands there, waving. Then, I assume, the invader just dropped some equipment, pointed at an ambushed monster and simply left. I wish I'd meet friendly invaders once in my life.
I had someone invade me and give me a flip ring once. So that was pretty great.
A guy invaded me and we sparred for about 30m. Just parrying with no ripostes, practicting rolls, as soon as someone hit low hp the other one backed off and healed. The first heal was mostly an accident because both he and I backed up simultaneously to pop a humanity, and then he bowed, I bowed, we went in again. He dropped some humanities for me at some point so we could both stay healed. I wound up winning, but only because when he backed up to heal for the 8th time he slid off a cliff during his animation. No idea what the fuck happened there, but RIP. I think PvP would honestly be a lot more fun if regular or friendlier players had more of an incentive to participate in it. As it stands, you can guarantee that the moment you get invaded it's by some filthy ass tryhard cheaping you out for a win. But those moments where a legit human bean shows up and regales you with an actual duel, as was my Painted World Paladin Leeroy with Two Maces vs. Xanthous Poisonous Blighttown Club Guy, are the best times you'll ever have in the game. Too bad those come in very, very rarely.
Feels like I need to read up on Bloodborne lore 'cause after the DLC I've only got the final boss left and I've no idea what I've been doing all game :v:

You get infused with blood and wake up in the dream, and are beckoned by Gehrman and the Moon Presence to kill Mergo. You succeed in doing so, and then, depending on what choice you make at the end of the game, can choose to kill both Gehrman and the Moon Presence, taking their respective places[/sp]
Chaos is only good if you have 10+ humanity actually active.
Oh I know, yet despite me having the max humanity I was still doing less damage to him
WHY ISNT DARK SOULS 3 OUT
I know...need it now.
I have to say, after the (arguably) long slog you have to do to reach him, Gravelord Nito is really easy I just kept myself in the spot I fell to earlier, killed his three skeletons flunkies while satying away from the giant mooks, waited for Nito to come there, dodged his highly telegraphic attacks and mauled him on my second try Then I managed to get the Queelag's Furysword and killed Lautrec with it Good times

I don't know if the game ever really mentions what pale blood is, when you ask Gilbert, he tells you it's not worth it

A wet-nurse is a woman who breastfeeds a baby in place of the baby's mother, what people miss is that Bloodborne is based in a Victorian style era and back in Victorian days baby's were often given to wet-nurses against the mother's will. Considering that Yharnham bows to you after you kill the wet-nurse I believe that's meant to show that you have freed Mergo from the wet-nurse. "Silence the baby's cry." Doesn't need to mean kill the baby.[/sp]

Once its Wet Nurse is dead, I believe you never hear the cry again?[/sp] [sp]Unless you kill its Surrogate Mother in the Chalice Dungeon, poor Mergo can't catch a break[/sp]
There's lots of places to avoid the poison and poison isn't that dangerous.
It wasn't so much the poison as it was the fact that I fell down into the swamp while crossing a balcony and got swarmed by the mosquitoes and spiders while my movement was impaired by the terrain. [editline]23rd January 2016[/editline] The infested barbarians are a pain as well.
I couldn't bring myself to slay Priscilla It doesn't help that the internet is filled with fan comics picturing her everyday life with her crow demons
I couldn't bring myself to slay Priscilla It doesn't help that the internet is filled with fan comics picturing her everyday life with her crow demons
This. I honestly thought that cursed dragon was the boss. Also the fact that you can just walk away is something i haven't seen since the first boss.
I couldn't bring myself to slay Priscilla It doesn't help that the internet is filled with fan comics picturing her everyday life with her crow demons
It doesn't help that to get Knight's Honor you need to cut her fluffy tail and also kill her to use her soul. FROM is an evil company, I'm sure of it. Alternatively summon someone to drop you the weapons already gotten.
check out my sad new avatar
check out my sad new avatar
That also reminds if [sp]you complete the DLC and save Sif before fighting him in Darkroot Garden you get a different cutscene. Which makes feel even more sad to fight him.[/sp]
I couldn't bring myself to slay Priscilla It doesn't help that the internet is filled with fan comics picturing her everyday life with her crow demons
Speak for yourself. I refused to slay Priscilla. She might be dumb as hell, but the fact that From tempts you into an optional murder with the allure of special weapons and achievements makes me not want to kill her more. Even I'm not sure if that's more honorable or simply contrarian, but I still ain't gonna do it.
i killed her out of pure spite for the skeleton wheels

I don't even think the altar of despair gives you any hints with what to do with it anyway then she still makes you kneel and acts like it never happened. I already have the rune so I think next playthrough I'll kill her myself
Yikes. Not going so well against the Living Failures for me.
Yikes. Not going so well against the Living Failures for me.
They can be parried as well as backstab fished if you've got a weapon that charges quick like BoM or saw spear.
Got it Only took me 5 different characters to do it. One new character to properly complete questlines and get all non-covenant magics, then another 4 + a close companion of mine to move ridiculous amounts of titanite, Sunlight Medals, humanities, Eyes of Death, etc just to max out all the covenants. Finish up with Dark Lord, plus Prayer of a Maiden with Sunlight Spear and a late Knight's Honor because I missed a Dark Hand on 30 minutes of NG+ and I'm done! I wound up with a really, really low hour count on the single character that actually earned the achievements. I'm actually worried the DS1 subreddit won't give me the little trophy flair because of how I got everything in 21 hours on one guy despite having 471 fucking hours in the game.
