Do you guys find these games oddly relaxing? For some reason I do.
All of the hub areas and Ash Lake spring to mind. How can you NOT get calm after a shitty boss run or a bad ganksquad experience.
Y'all have got funny ways of spelling "Rapier".
I heard different pagan cultures had different ways of spelling Estoc
something that puts me off from playing bloodborne more than twice is how bleak everything is i mean they achieved the atmosphere so well, that i feel that there's no point to anything i mean the rest of the souls games were hopeful atleast, bad things did happen to everybody, but there was hope, and there were people still fighting, and some how that made the experience a bit more enjoyable to me, and replayable playing through bloodborne again feels like kind of a drag though bloodborne is extremely fashionable, cainhurst greaves and gloves, with knights garb and golden ardeo wow so beauty this game should be called fashion souls tbh
In Dark Souls you got to 'play' with weapons and gears. In Bloodborne, not sure what should I play with.
Too many dex weapons tbh. Ultra class wep or BUST
I was having a good time in Sen's Fortress avoiding traps, not getting sliced or crushed and getting bullied by those Serpent Mages. Reached the boss, killed it. Yeah everything was fine... Then I entered the tar pit and got the middle finger many times. Those pesky Prowling Demons.

This guy I'm friends with on Facebook keep constantly saying praise the sun. He went to a renascence fair and took pictures with dudes dressed as knights and went like "I bet they know the guy who praises the sun". On top of that he just crams it into every fucking post and comment. Bumped into him the other day irl and I asked if he's ever played Dark Souls. He dodged the question. :T
You're just jealous you can't be so grossly incandescent
He has the faith, but lacks the strength to praise the sun.
I bet he puts points into Dex...
I bet he puts points into Dex...
As a moderate: I'm fine with Dex-builds. But I can't stand Hexer scum.
If you play dark souls as anything other than a melee build you're doing it wrong.
I hope archer builds become more viable in DS3 with the addition of the Weapon Arts. I've tried doing it in DS1 and 2 and it's just a huge pain in the ass.
Both archery and magic feels like cheating to me, pretty much the only way to play with those is to cheese everything and take advantage of the AI which seems to be made just for melee. The games so far feel like they were all made for melee, and that all ranged stuff was just thrown in there. I hope DS3 improves on it, from the little I've seen it does look like they're trying to make it better.

I'm often told that bows and the kind are actually incredibly useful in the Dark Souls games due to the enemies AI not being able to cope with ranged attacks properly and screwing its own pathfinding up in an effort to get to you
Dark souls is the only game I use a controller for so ranged weapons are kind of useless if its not targeted. and getting the drake sword by scumming and shooting the drakes tail as he takes off and lands for 20 minutes is a key dark souls experience that every noob deserves to go through. Even if its only useful for the gargoyles/ capra it at least gets you through the early multiple target boss fights which are pretty tough to start out.

I find that the time and souls spent to get all the arrows and shoot the tail much more painful to go through than to just upgrade whatever weapon you have at the time. The drake sword doesn't do much more damage than any +5 weapon you can get at that point.
Yeah but its cool though. [editline]1st October 2015[/editline] -any boss or dragon weapon
Yeah but its cool though. [editline]1st October 2015[/editline] -any boss or dragon weapon
tbh most boss weapons in souls 1 and 2 are kinda shit
Except the fury sword. That weapon is pretty cool.
Except the fury sword. That weapon is pretty cool.
most not all [editline]1st October 2015[/editline] also, anyone else finds it dumb that there are spell parry shields that NPCS CARRY and yet none of them actually parry spells? sorcery literally means every single target you fight is a sitting duck, more or less. Summon a phantom and have them be a distraction, then tank them. It's too easy. I want to see targets that actually REALLY outmatch sorcery, rather than not being able to comprehend the basic physics of a giant magic missile and just getting hit every time.
tbh most boss weapons in souls 1 and 2 are kinda shit
Dunno what weapon you used but Dragon Bone Fist, Golem Axe, Lifehunt Scythe, Sacred Chime Hammer, Crypt Blacksword and Yorgh's Spear are amazing.
Dunno what weapon you used but Dragon Bone Fist, Golem Axe, Lifehunt Scythe, Sacred Chime Hammer, Crypt Blacksword and Yorgh's Spear are amazing.
I've also had great luck with the Lost Sinner Sword, both Fume swords, Warped/Arc swords and both the Ivory swords.
Lifehunt scythe moves might looks like shit, IF the attack didnt connect. But if it connects, then the successive hits will suddenly become faster, and after 3-4 slash the other player is usually dead due to bleeding.
