Maybe I asked this earlier, in that case apologies, but if I have an high arcane AND skill stats, is the Holy Moonlight Sword viable?
At +10 it has A arcane and B strength scaling but only C in skill so you need high strength to get the most out of it.

Once you get his patterns down [sp]or just shoot him to death with a bow from outside the arena[/sp] he's not terrible, just difficult. A good final boss, imo.

If you mean the Moonlight Sword, yes
At the point I am in the game I'm just trying to interact and get whatever or however I can find with by my own and avoid any sort of guide/walkthrought/wiki page, unless it's really necessary
For instance, I'm losing count on how many covenants I'm passing through
By the way, I managed to make Ceaseless Discharge jump down a cliff and die in one hit. Is this rare?

For me, yes. I've never been able to get him to the ledge. He usually just stands at the spot before jumping and launches the fire pillar of FUCK in my face as I stand by the door like a dumbass.
In general, no, it's not rare.

Just picked up Scholar of the First Sin and the game controls terribly on a 360 pad, a half second of input lag for everything. Controls flawlessly on keyboard but I'd rather not since I've played 1 numerous times with this same controller. Any tips?

It feels like Dark Souls 2 controlled better than SotFS edition did, but that could be me remembering wrong.

Is it even helpful traversing new londo? I have a balder side sword +9 and just found the jagged ghost blade, but i also have like 8 transient curses.
Just use the transient curses.

Relatively common / slightly rare. I've got more than one on my main character and I didn't kill that many ghosts.
It's a cursed weapon, which means you can harm ghosts with it, but you're better off with BSS+Curse
You know, this made me realize how bullshit the Gold Tracer is
Of all the curved swords with bleed (they are only the twinkling titanite ones), it's the only one with good range AND it has insanely amazing scaling (Ptg.Guardian sword has dagger range and the JGB has shit scaling)
Not that bleed really matters anyways. A DMB Falchion hurts just as much and anything infused with poison will work better due to generally lower res

I went to the good ol' pvp bridge and I couldn't find a single red sign.
I did manage to invade someone on like the third try so I'm sure I'm not somehow banned.

I get invaded all the time in most areas (just under 4 million soul memory).
So it's confirmed that the area seen in DS3's first trailer is indeed [sp]Firelink Shrine[/sp] and it was also confirmed that there will be a Firekeeper there who "serves the player" (probably levels you up). Makes me wonder if it's Anastacia or someone else entirely.
So basically every Souls games (except DS1) has a waifu that levels you up. :v:
if that's the case then:
a) it's gonna be a fuckin pain in the ass to bring all your souls back to firelink to level up
or b) we're gonna be given the ability to warp immediately ala dark souls 2 and ruin the early sense of exploration again
