I have a question about co-op in Bloodborne - if my friend spends an insight with the beckoning bell to bring me into their world, if one of us die would that have been a waste of insight, and have to use another insight on the beckoning bell again?

Don't worry about it, though. Insight is incredibly common.
Yes. Don't worry about it, though. Insight is incredibly common.
Wish it was this early for them, though. They are new to this type of game and want to help them through it but I guess it feels kinda limited for us at this stage.
the new armour looks sick can't wait to go fashion souls again
there's something about Bloodborne that fails to properly grab me like the Souls games, I'm not sure what it is. I never managed to finish it, I got all the way up to One Reborn before I stopped playing around the release. then a few months later I figured I'd try finishing it again, but I felt way too lost on my old character so I made a new one but failed to get very far before stopping again. now I'm in the same boat and want to finish the game, but yet again, too lost to continue with the previous one. now I'm not even able to keep my interest high enough to get past the first two wolves on the bridge. there's something that feels very different in Bloodborne compared to Souls that isn't as attractive even though the games play almost identical. maybe it's the artstyle, maybe it's the 30fps lock (incredibly jarring, I can't get used to it), maybe it's the setting, I have no idea.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/veBvUyv.jpg[/t]
I legit said the wrong thing first time and had to reload. [editline]28th January 2016[/editline] Reckon DS3 will have a Cat like the other two?
Going to be honest. DS3 doesn't look that much prettier than previous DS games. And instead of these 1000 dollars limited edition plastic figurines and books, they should make 1 iron elite knight helmet instead as limited edition. At least something real-life to display, something gritty, not these plastic dolls.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/I6VFBL8.png[/t] ?? [t]http://cdn.destructoid.com//ul/337222-/Mercenary%20overlooking%20Firelink%20Shrine-noscale.jpg[/t] ???? i mean even if it looks like it has slightly low res textures or geometry at times (it's third person, are you really gonna be looking that closely at textures?) the game's art and aesthetic more than make up for it how can anyone think ds3 doesn't look pretty
It isn't redundant. It's just not something you have to worry about because you're good at the game. A LOT of people have problems with their weapons breaking in Dark Souls because they're not any good at the game.
Even then, some weapons' special attacks require an awful lot of durability (Moonlight UGS heavy 2handed, Havel's GS 2hand buff)
the new armour looks sick can't wait to go fashion souls again
Tbh as much as i love fashion, i'd like armor to actually be worth something for once.
Tbh as much as i love fashion, i'd like armor to actually be worth something for once.
It was quite worth its salt in the first DS
It was quite worth its salt in the first DS
To be honest, I've only found armor had a useful affect based on how much poise it gave you. None of the game's armors seemed to have any use other than looking good and stopping you from staggering. [editline]t[/editline] I should mention that I've never upgraded any DkS1 armor to maximum because of how useless they were, so that makes my opinion slightly biased.

I didn't mean to imply that poise was useless, it's one of my favorite things and I really hope it returns in Dark Souls 3. I just meant that poise and fashion were the only uses to armor, strictly in my opinion. I never used armor for any purpose other than those two.

The problem is that it's screenshots when Dark Souls is a very mobile game. None of From's games look very good when you scrutinize the fuck out of things or when you don't have any of the various post processing & environmental effects. I'd still really like it if we got a HD texture and model pack for the PC release, but oh well. That aside I seriously hope I do not have to talk to some lady to level up again. Constantly hauling my dick back & forth between the zone and Majula/Nexus/Dollzone was awful. Why can't we have any sense of self anymore?

I mean come on if <-- that suit was available to buy in real life i'd already have twelve of them
Hold up Is it just me or are these two really similar Old King Doran, I do believe you are in the wrong game

Guys, are the optional areas in the DLC worth it? I have SotFS, and have almost completed the game - [sp]just have to kill Nashandra/Throne guys/Darklurker maybe[/sp] and I'm wondering if the Cave of the Dead, the Iron Passage and the snow one areas are worth anything.

Cave of the Dead = 3-man Ganksquad boss. Iron Passage = Marathon dash to the end and a Smelter clone. Frigid Outskirts = Crazy Magic Flying Reindeer, and I hope you enjoyed fighting Aava because now there's 2 of them. Darklurker = Fun interesting fight and then suffering.
They're fun if you just want more Dark Souls to play, but they are honestly bullshit hard imo.
Well, each one has their own issues really and benefits. Sunken, enemies have stupid high poise, poison, bullshit "co-op" area and meh bosses all around but had solid level design and neat enemies like the the Imperfect and a lot of cool hidden stuff. Iron, enemies do stupid damage, the outside areas look cool but it's mostly just grey brick rooms and there's a lot of bullshit (fuck the walk to Alonne) but boasts two of the best bosses. Ivory i like almost everything about. Solid, if repeative, level design, one of the best bossfights with the best build ups in the game, a really cool first boss, a ton of cool items and looks good but it has arguably one of the most unfun co-op areas if you're going in blind and one of the most disappointing co-op bosses, which is saying something because they all were and somehat janky hitboxes for how much damage enemies do, seriously what the fuck Ice Sonics. Overall they're fantastic and better than the base game, but get ready to basically get kicked in the dick repeatedly.

today I learned you can hear vicar amelia say some dialogue if you wait at the top of the stairs and listen closely before triggering the cutscene and boss

I wonder if this is supposed to be more "abyss" corruption, or if it's something else entirely.

So after spending all last night and today going through the shit to join the darkwraith cov at an earlyish level and then getting all that humanity, I finally get the armor set, take a close look at it and My fucking sides
Watching this video reminds me why Demon's had the most asshole NPC to fight or PvP in general. Edit: Wrong video, fixed it
