I'm going through the Chalice dungeons in Bloodborne properly for the first time, man a lot of these bosses suck. They're either huge and do massive AOE attacks or they're human sized and do fucking 8 hit combos that kill you in 5 hits. I'm not even underpowered, I do like 500 damage per hit and I've hit the soft caps for vitality, endurance, strength, and skill.

Decided to make a pause in Anor Londo and start with a new character as Pyromancer and then it was there I discovered I can customize my character face beyond the presets you have. I am so blind.

chalice dungeons were a mistake

i enjoyed the chalice dungeons. the later ones at least. they could've been done a lot better though. like each dungeon type should at least have a more unique look to it with totally different architecture and level design. honestly it would've been better if they spent more time on chalice dungeons or just got rid of them completely and spent more time on main game content. there definitely should have been a better reward for beating yarn ham though. at least something visual on my character so i can show online people how cool i am.

Can you block or parry in Bloodborne? [editline]1st October 2015[/editline] Also, is Scholar of the First Sin worth it over base Dark Souls 2? If I haven't played base DS2 yet.

The only way to block is the Wooden Shield, but it's mostly a joke weapon and only really good at stopping some weaker projectiles.

I remember when I first got dark souls on ps3 I couldnt get past that asshole. Bought the game on pc and watched epic name bro finaly understood the games mechanics and the importance of upgrading now I love the series and have beat each gane multiple times.

Always wondered that did FromSoft decide to be such dicks to create faces for NPC's with their own face-editor and have an exclusive face-texture for the Crestfallen Warrior and Laurentius that included stubble :v:

Is it me, or am I the only one amazed that not a ton of people have taken advantage of doing fan writings on these games? The vagueness in the plot and direction is ripe for some creative fanfics from a new character's POV. Miyazaki himself stated that he did this on purpose since during a Bloodborne interview that it'll get the individuals in the community to be creative in their interpretations.

The rest was me repeatedly shanking the Capra Demon while occasionally blocking his attacks.

2s dogs are so shitty, their attack animation is garbage and so is their dumb sound

not to mention, the giant dog in Doors of Pharros seriously fuck that toxic debuff

Reached the boss in Anor Londo, the battle begins with me getting stabbed by a spear followed by being sent to fly by the big hammer and finally getting killed by a ranged lighting bolt attack... I never stood a chance. Looks like I'm going to need serious help from the sun this time.
