Every time I pick up this drop I reflect on the fact that this person's corpse has been here long enough for their flesh and clothing to decay into nothingness, leaving behind a skeletal husk of what they once were, but this fruit they had on them is still fresh.
Reached the boss in Anor Londo, the battle begins with me getting stabbed by a spear followed by being sent to fly by the big hammer and finally getting killed by a ranged lighting bolt attack... I never stood a chance. Looks like I'm going to need serious help from the sun this time.
I wouldn't recommend it, Solaire's bravery is truly radiant but not his longevity, and after he's gone biggie smalls will just have more health. Unadvisable
Ornstein's dash thrust is dodged easily at the start once you have the timing down (and he doesn't always do it) and after that he does an obvious telegraph of spinning his spear behind him before he rushes
Ornstein's running hammer swing is pretty terrifying, there's a delay between him stopping and him actually doing the attack. Practice the timing
Use the columns to separate them or heal (don't stand right next to the column as attacks can go through it), and fire damage is good against them. I always take out Ornstein first, might be easier for you

some kind passer-by just figured the skeleton looked hungry
Played Dark Souls 3 at an expo today didn't spend too long playing but it felt really solid. Died to the typical dragon breathing fire part, which i just realized dks2 is the only souls game that didn't have a dragon blocking a path with fire( i know one was added in softs). Combat felt very dks1 and i liked it.

Yeah, that's kind of a Miyazaki trademark. He mentioned in an interview that one of his favorite things is to put a fire breathing dragon early in the game. :P
I do like the idea of just starting the game and already being set back by some kind of giant badass enemy that you'd only see at end-game on other games
it sort of outlines the fact that you're just a weak undead to begin with
I'd need to play catch-up :v:
Forgot what SL I am, probably 55-60, I only just beat O&S
Oh damn hah, i could use my Havel cosplay, he's @ lvl 80~.
Maybe a dukes FC ?
On another note, heres me going "flawless" on fume ng+6, i wanted to finish him with a hadouken, but eh, next time. That hilt at 2:50 tho

the dragon was asleep during my playthrough of the gamescom demo, i wonder if they changed that or you did something to wake him up
I picked up form some guy who got mad and walked away. kinda kicking myself for not restarting.
I missed Miyazaki's level designs in dks2 he makes a linear level feel open and well not linear.

What does this even mean
Who the hell invented the curse mechanic. God DAMMIT.

The demo was left halfway or something and he picked up where another guy gave up.
can someone seriously tell me how im expected to get past this around the second brume tower upper floor bonfire, i did it on another playthrough but idk how/used greatsword and had heavier armor but still

small ass room, 5 enemies that do massive damage to me, no way to retreat or to heal myself and no way to NOT aggro them all at once
it just seems to me like its impossible for me to get past this shit without summon help (of which there is none)
this is still my favorite souls trailer haha

There's barrel dudes. Push them into the pit, stay by the ladder and lure the fire dude towards you. The enemies can't climb, and the fire dude has a chance to detonate the barrel hollows.
chalice dungeons were a mistake
You watch your mouth, chalice dungeons are pretty great! I love wasting time in them.
[sp]Defiled Chalice is the only exception, though.[/sp]
Last time on "The Adventures of a Pyromancer". Our brave hero slide down a ladder so hard that he felt through the world.

Who will our brave hero get out of this predicament? Tune in next time on a new episode of "The Adventures of a Pyromancer".
Future spoilers: [sp]He dies but he got better after that.[/sp]
Just got Bloodborne and played for two hours... couldn't even get past the Cleric Beast lol. I'm really enjoying it though, playing it makes me really nervous and paranoid like the Tower of Latria did.
This is my first time playing through a Souls game 100% blind, so I'm excited.

You'll struggle with the first few bosses because of how much faster/more aggressive the game is compared to souls.
You just have to keep trying until you get good at quickstepping.
I really hope DS3 has more of places like Dragon Memories and Ash Lake.
My rage will truly be something to behold should the Old Hunters DLC for Bloodborne will be tided to calice dungeons progression in ANY capacity
i just hope the dlc includes a way to respec

They've said that the DLC doesn't change/add to the chalice dungeons, so I really wouldn't think so.
Speaking of dungeons, I've got some root chalice dungeons for those looking for a challenge. They're not Depth 4, but I'm looking for help since it's my first time using a root chalice. Level 69+ is preferred of possible.
Fetid Hintertomb Chalice: rsfe3w7x
Lower Hintertomb Chalice (one with the Forgotten Madman boss): 59uyvyx4
did they change the dlc with sotfs? with old iron king i didnt get the red invader just before the second bonfire
The forgotten madmen might be the new Orstein and Smough. 2 vs 1, both have buffs, an arena that plays in the bosses favor instead of yours, and a soundtrack that'll aggravate you after hearing it over and over again.
Anyone want to partake in communion? I REALLY need to beat them, and I'm almost out of bullets and vials (down to 12 and 4 respectively).
[editline]coop[/editline]
Nevermind, I killed the Forgotten Madman with a partner AND killed the Pthumarian Elder in one go solo. My hands won't stop shaking.

Ok seriously, how do I kill the twin gargoyles? I've been stuck on them for like the past week now, this is getting so dumb. I can't find any humanity anywhere to get Soltaire again and I think he's my only chance to ever get past them.
