There's quite a few enemies that do that mid-swing. Like, not even a side to side swing, which could be understandable, but overhead attacks too.
I've see that with npc phantoms
mid air 360 spin slash
From Software opening up a second studio.

Considering Miyazaki talked about perhaps moving on to sci-fi settings and such this is p. great that they have more staff. Couple that with moving away from Bamco and I can see nothing but good tidings really.

the only way i can imagine a souls-type game with a sci-fi setting is if it has mechs and interplanetary travel, plus gratuitous amounts of lasers.
i hope they keep the feeling of everything being kind of weird and inexplicable if they do make a sci-fi game, i get a hard-on for science fiction where 90% of the imagery is nonsensical dreamlike symbolism and/or only exists because they wanted ninjas/cowboys/knights in space
imagine an 80's scifi souls game akin to blood dragon / kung fury only with Japanese taste
I hope Miyazaki makes another Armored Core like 4 and FA. They were hard as fuck because the enemy did not play fair and cheesing was rarely an option.
On the otherhand, Bloodborne DLC IS coming. Bloodborne becomes way too easy once you know how to fight everything.
Fuck the salamanders and the big giants in the memories, they're the worst to fight as a pure melee user in ds2, easy mode if you use poison arrows though.
As a side note, what are the worst enemies in each souls game for ya'll? The ones you just loathe fighting. For me(as a melee user):
Demons: Havent played enough of it, so i cant say
DS1: Dragon Butts, Black Phantom skeledogs, the cat things in the forest.
DS2: Salamanders, The giants with two big clubs,
BB: the brain things on the run before micolash, frenzy can fuck off.

NOT including the NG+ izalith titanite demon for DS1????????
Shit list, that is objectively that hardest enemy in the game.

Just thinking about more games having Souls gameplay in general makes me hot & bothered.
I'm your shade/phantom
I have all the gear needed to protect you and it is my sworn duty to die in the name of your life
it would be no greater honor than to die saving your life. I should be the one to take the hit.
so why the FUCK would you run into a room blind without me you, try to take on everyone, and then die immediately stupid TIT. FUCK YOU. AAAAA
I fired up Dark Souls again so I could fight Artorias. God damn he is a fun fight - probably my favourite out of all the souls games.
I wish the souls series had a sort of boss replay system. I don't want to make another character just so I can keep fighting Artorias.

I just started playing and I learned that bonfire ascetics respawn bosses, there's some ways to farm infinite of them too, but be warned it makes the whole surrounding area harder.

oh I just realized that boss was in DS1

there is a cheat engine table that exists with every hack on the planet you can think of for souls 1, but it also includes the ability to check and uncheck what boss has been defeated, allowing you to replay every one of them as you see fit

I'll edit everything else out and post it here if I can manage

Honestly if you through the formula onto any setting I'll eat it up

At 6:21, new trailer!
What a handsome Cleric and that Soul Greatsword too
If they nerf miracles into the ground this time too I'll just disable updates and play offline.
I wouldn't mind if they changed their balance formula and buffed things to super powers rather than nerfed things into nothingness. I'm doubtful this will happen, but it would be nice.

Stay behind him on his broken leg side, wait for swing, attack once or twice, repeat until death. Roll backward if he jumps in the air.
Not exactly worth listing.

Never struggled with him on higher ng's, so i didn't include him.

I never actually fought him after seeing he respawns. Bait out his jump attack, roll and run away.
Well. I can't get the controller drivers to work properly with Windows 10 and the PC controls suck. Accidentally killed the first undead who gave me Estus trying to find the 'A' button and had to start over.

....you get it anyway don't you? Or was it just the key?

I assume it's a melee build, because (Great) Lightning Spears + Ring of the Sun's Firstborn + Crown of Dusk/Dark Sun is an absolute killer, as he's weak to lightning.
I hope Dark Souls III makes playing lefty more viable. It's a joke in 1 and it's better in 2 but it bugs me how I can't backstab unless I have something in my right hand that isn't a shield.
....you get it anyway don't you? Or was it just the key?
I do in fact get it any way. (What key?)
It just made me feel bad and I think I didn't finish the convo.
It's not just about the Sunny D.
(What key?)
There's a gate ahead.
