Well, it at very least has DSFix because it's running at 60fps.
I remember DS1 looked kinda odd, like it was running at 32 colors or somethings (like in darker areas I could see individual bands of dull green and red). Like it was SUPER noticeable, but if you looked real close in the right spots you'd see it.
When I upgraded to windows 10 that went away for like no reason and DS1 looks amazing now.

the lighting changes in diffrent areas if youve just started it
Or it could be SweetFX

As far as I know, the Kiln has always looked like that. Unless you've never used DSFix before, in which case it increases the internal rendering resolution so the game looks clear and sharp and not muddy and blurry as fuck like how it normally is.
What are the best stats for the Burial Blade? High Skill and average Arcane?
What are the best stats for the Burial Blade? High Skill and average Arcane?
Just skill
Unless tweaked with dedicated gear in the Old Hunters, arcane remains useless in almost every regard there is
What are the best stats for the Burial Blade? High Skill and average Arcane?
Skill is the majority of the damage so just focus on that.
I have a high arcane build but it's just good for stomping enemies like werewolves, brainsuckers and its decent against everything else

I just got to Sen's fortress, so yeah I've seen the lighting changes. Mostly talking about the 60fps and how sharp everything looks, guess I'll try DSfix because that looks incredible
word of warning, going down ladders is dangerous at 60fps because you tend to phase through the ground.

Is pretty much a "must have" since you can also fix the depth of field and proper scale your resolution.

I heard about that but all the time I used 60fps I had no problem with that, except that one time while going down the stairs that leads to under the bridge where the dragon is. Other than that you can set it to 30fps by pressing a button anytime.
I've never been able to use DSFix, the game just crashes on startup no matter what settings I use with it.

Make sure you have motion blur and aa turned off in Dark Souls first.

Thanks, but I've already got that down.
word of warning, going down ladders is dangerous at 60fps because you tend to phase through the ground.
The only thing that has that issue is the Ladder under the Dragon Bridge. Even still, it only happens if you're sliding down it. Normal climbing down is perfectly fine.
You will also probably fall through the "ground" when falling into the Abyss.
Anyone have any issues with Dark Souls on Windows 10? I just started it up and it looks like it's suddenly trying to force some 3d graphics mode or something, I get this double vision effect with one being red and the other blue. I tried to take a screenshot but it ended up displaying normally in the picture.

Get anaglyph glasses. Is it 3D?
I fixed it, turns out Nvidia was trying to force 3d with certain games for some reason.
What happened to not getting invaded when you're hollowed. because I've been invaded by the same dipshit a half dozen times now.

Is it an NPC invader?
And I don't think it matters if you're hollowed or not in DS2. It's just unhollowed players get priority when searching for a player to invade.

Which completely defeats the purpose of the Humanity system imo, it's one of the things i dislike most about DS2. In DS1, being Human had a whole slew of benefits but you ran the risk of being invaded. The only real benefit of being Human in DS2 is using summon signs, as even the health bar thing can be mitigated with plentiful healing items and the Ring of Binding, but in any case most of us have played long enough to not really need summons or worry about our health unless we're just dicking around.
It's getting to the point where I want to run the game offline because I get literally constant invasions from dipshits that lag incessantly, and just make the game straight up unfun. I have no way of defending myself from them when they lag the way they do, and the only reason I keep online enabled is to help people kill bosses and vice-versa.
but when I've been working my way to a boss room for a half hour carrying a couple hundred thousand souls and this same cocksucker that has been camping me all evening appears, it's pretty infuriating.
Speaks for yourself, I think DS2's was the best implementation of the PvP system. Having a wider selection of people to invade made it much more worthwhile rather than relying entirely on luck that there are players who are human in an area, which often times there isn't any.

You can burn an effigy at a bonfire to block invasions for 30 minutes.

I mean it definitely had more options for PvP, certainly, but it completely removes to risk/reward system and motivates people to play offline more instead of just staying hollow until you want to PvP or need help on a boss, so one way or the other there'd be less people.
man im pissed i just spent like 2 hours trying to invade a friend in 1 through soapstone and red eye orb, changing region dl, constantly exiting the game and shit, only to find out through the steam hub that the beta branch has become useless now (the one ive been on) and the non-beta is what everyone is on. my friend was on the non-beta :(

I've fallen through there by jumping down before. It's just that one spot that's weird. It's also possible to fall through the ladder to the lower undead burg over 30FPS, but it's more rare. You can do the dragon bridge one 90% of the time
Is Bloodborne GOTY Edition not going to be available in the US? Can't find it anywhere for preorder.

I don't think it's up for preorder yet or if it'll even have one since The Old Hunters still isn't available for purchase despite it already having a release date
Starting November 24th, download the Bloodborne DLC expansion The Old Hunters for $19.99 and experience the nightmare of the hunters who once guarded Byrgenwerth’s darkest secrets.
Could just be the wording but it doesn't look like we'll be able to play it and buy it until that day
Weird. You can preorder Old Hunters at GameStop.
Normally DLC can't be preordered on its own. You usually have to buy it when it comes out.
