A lump of steel with finger-holes, wielded by Galasha the Slow.
The towering huntress was unable to use firearms, and instead bludgeoned the beasts with this weapon, staggering them with her blows.
The weapon was named for her fearsome, and in a sense heroic, feats.
I think it was tested by some people at a con or something and that it couldn't parry sadly. Though the animation is said to be a fast uppercut. I'm not 100% sure though, so don't quote me.
Tried for the first time play as the bad guy and invaded people, I got destroyed most of times and in one of the few victories I had the player was someone with only 6 hours in the game. I feel awful now.

dont worry
everyone breaks once they get the thousand soul stare, then you just get used to it
and then you do it again and again and again
and then you realize
"hey this is pretty fun"
and soon you'll be finding yourself as one of those guys that invades the dragon aerie and pushes people off cliffs for a living
Defeated the Demon of Song without it laying a finger on me, and the golden knight fellow in a single try as well. I now have the ring of the King himself? I wonder if it will open the doors in memory.

Man, i hope we get to meet the huntress. I super doubt it but dreams, right?
I look like I could be one of the game's bosses

I now have the whole Smelter set, so as if I wasn't one shotting everyone already, I can now afk at bosses and continue to ogle my 40+ humanities- er, effigies.
I could never bring myself to invade people. My consience wont allow me.
Instead I find joy in being a sidekick in a ganking squad in the forest.
I won 1 on 1 duels in DS2 no problem, but it feels rather lonely fighting alone. And i hate Iron Keep.
You know what really pisses me off that From still hasn't fixed?
The One Reborn.
There is a glitch that still exists that From never fixed and it's a pretty glaring issue. Sometimes The One Reborn will vomit this acid pool that fills up pretty much the entire arena and you have to rush to one of the sides of the arena to avoid getting hit by it. But sometimes the vomit pool doesn't appear to summoned players, so they're getting hit for massive damage by something they can't even see. It's honestly the cause for half of my deaths during jolly cooperation against him. :T
I need some help with building a hideously edgy magic-and-katana-user with a larger focus on melee.
Should I upgrade my Uchigatana all the way along the Magic or Enchanted path, or keep it Normal and use Crystal Magic Weapon?

DS1 or DS2? Upgrade paths differ greatly between both games.

I kept getting invaded by "Forlorn" so eventually I went fuck it and invaded a dude right as he was in the middle of a fight with those lion dudes in the shaded ruins. He survived with a small amount of health and I finished him with a fire bomb. Then I later found out this "Forlorn" is a recurring NPC invader.
I will never be able to atone for my sin.

DS1.
DS1.
It honestly depends on the how high you're upgrading your intelligence stat. If your INT is at around 40-50 it might be better to upgrade your weapon to the enchanted path for maximum damage. However, if your INT isn't that high and you're focusing more on the DEX side of things, then you're better off just keeping your weapon on the normal path and buffing it Crystal Magic Weapon.
What's the best area/soul level for pvp these days in ds1?
What's the best area/soul level for pvp these days in ds1?
The bonfire just after artorias's arena is pretty popular IIRC, and i believe most people still do 125
Theres also the forest
What's the best area/soul level for pvp these days in ds1?
Townshit - sl125~
Anal rodeo - Mostly 40-70, but i still get some pvp action here at 125~
Gank Forest - most varied imo, you can usually get invasions at any level
Take your pick.
how do i use the grand lance?
1hand or 2hand? and like w/ what shield I guess
how do i use the grand lance?

I'll personally use it with a parrying shield with it two-handed most of the time, because the 2HR1 does pretty awesome damage, the 2HR2 can chain knock down unlucky people and the counter damage is pretty solid as well, so i'll mostly rely on dodging and getting a solid hit in when i can and parrying when they mess up.
I have to confess guys, every time I help someone kill a boss I praise the sun... In real life.
you have memeitis and I'm afraid it's terminal
I'm sorry
I have to confess guys, every time I help someone kill a boss I praise the sun... In real life.
that's okay, i praised the sun in real life two weeks ago when it was cold as fuck out and literally the only thing keeping me warm was the sun.

I have the Joy gesture bound to the same controller movement I would do if I did it so my character and I both do this at the same time. It's one of the best uses of the sixaxis

So after having a hard time defeating Kalameet in NG+ I thought the final boss would be harder than that. Turns out spamming the living hell of the fireballs is enough to kill him without being touched. So much for that control of the flame.
Gwyn wasn't meant to be hard. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Can parry him for crying out loud :v:

That's how I thought of Nashandra. A lot of people said she was too easy to be the end boss but when you think about it, Nashandra's strength isn't her ability to fight, it's her ability to control and manipulate others. The entire game up till that point was a part of her boss fight since you were fighting past the the things she put in the way to stop you getting to her.

That gets me thinking; I wish DS2 had a lot more time in the oven. Wish DS1 also had a lot more time in the oven. Probably gonna wish DS3 had a lot more time in the oven too.
All of From's games, except for Bloodborne because I don't have the 600 bucks to play it, were great, but there was always that "what if" element lingering as you played through the levels, specially the later ones.
What if what?
What if they actually got the time/funding/whatever it is they need to actually 100% finish their games? Not to criticize them, but it's very clear that there are lots of things that were cut out of the game because of god knows why. Maybe the idea didn't translate well to the game, maybe they didn't have the proper funding for it, maybe they ran out of time while developing, etc. Hellkite Drake had some pretty rich videos about From's cut content.
Look at Lost Izalith for example or the big ass chamber + entombed skeleton model someone found in DS2's files a while back.
What if what?
What if they had more time/money to put into it. Dark Souls fell off towards the end, especially Izalith. Dark Souls 2 apparently was conceived as open world, but late in development Namco decided From needed to structure it similarly to DaS/DeS. So there's evidence of a lot of crunching for time in both titles.

God I'm late but please still love me.
Played DS3 for 15 minutes today. It felt very familiar, movement, parrying, backstabs, everything. Looks great too, instant buy (but I already knew that :v:)
