I'm still going to be using the kirkhammer instead of ludwig's cheese. Smashing an enemy into the floor is incredibly satisfying. I do however, find it to be very interesting and I like where it leads you to. If anything, the poison area is the lower part of nightmare frontier. The poison isn't as big of a problem as the slow down. The slow down particularly sucks because the rocks the yeti's throw kill me in one hit and on top of that, there are a lot of scurrying beasts that disappear before you can get to them. You guys talk about the Souls series as if they're all in some way, unfinished. I think Bloodborne might be their baby because it feels very complete and everything goes together and the map makes sense. You can also visit every area that's hinted at through dialogue and notes.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I also really loved the way LotF handled their heavy armor characters; you were unstoppable and there was a real weight to everything you did. If there was a way to integrate that BB speed with LotF's heavy armor system and then refine those two elements, you'd probably have a perfect ARPG game. Edit: Didn't they also have help to complete BB from one Japan Studio?

Although apparently I did the boss the easy way, and if you beat smough first you get a special ring but whatever

In regards to Dark Souls lore discussion, why is it that everyone says Humanity and Manus and such are fragments of the Dark Soul and the Furtive Pygmy? Was it a bit of lore discussed in Dark Souls 2?

Maybe in BB, it'll be the one weapon that'll make an arcane build viable for situations outside of enemies vulnerable to fire, bolt, and arcane. You can get through the game with arcane(I did) but everything else is a lot more effective
