[sp]There was never any plans for players to be able to turn into beasts. That was just a translation mess up because they call the effect you get when you use Beast Blood Pellets 'transformation'.[/sp]
[sp]I am very aware of this. However I would still like an actual transformation as I feel From really dropped the ball by not having such a mechanic.[/sp]
[sp]I can just see the Gatling Gun eating up all the silver bullets. Will be fun to try it out though. As soon as you find it, you'll give out a Doom Guy-esk grin.[/sp]
So I beat Dark Souls 1 for the first time... I can't help but feel that everything past the Duke's Archives was mostly pretty easy. Maybe because I'd gotten a hang of the game finally, maybe because I finally had great equipment, maybe some of both. But seriously, I beat Bed of Chaos, Four Kings, and Nito all in one play session that was maybe 3 hours tops. I really want to play NG+ to get another taste of the famous difficulty again, like it was when I first started playing the early dungeons, but part of me is a little burnt out.
that's cuz for lost izalith and the catacombs/TotG you just run past everything/skip the levels. for new londo darkwraiths are laughably easy to parry and the four kings are even easier to tank duke's archives is only harder than the others because the bullshitly tough crystal hollows that hit you like a fucking truck and the sorcerers sniping at you from all over the place

To get everyone ready for the new DLC, I've written a short story for college based on Bloodborne. I've done my best to keep most of the vague story, game, and character elements intact while still capable of being a "decent" novel of sorts with open interpretations. No this won't go on fanfiction.net or whatever, but I will give out copies. Just shoot me a PM if you want a good read while you wait to die to eldritch monstrosities. Critiques are also welcome. :eng101:
So why are there so many headstones around the old doll in the old workshop? Its kind of creepy
So why are there so many headstones around the old doll in the old workshop? Its kind of creepy
Because people are using the Chikage or the wheel to kill themselves. Why they do it by the hundreds around the [sp]real[/sp] doll I have no idea. Maybe they are giving their blood to their doll waifu or some RP shit?
Do pvp deaths leave stains? There is a certain combination of covenants that lets you duel in the Dream near the end of the game

Watch the gravestones at the rafters in central yharnam and old yharnam. There are lots of people carefully trying to cut the things down only to fail spectacularly
Well, the Gherman fight WAS going well until i finally hit the third phase and he started fucking flash stepping and teleporting around.
Well, the Gherman fight WAS going well until i finally hit the third phase and he started fucking flash stepping and teleporting around.
Just run away when he flies up into the air to throw wind at you. It's the only guaranteed way to escape that attack
Bloodborne DLC tomorrow, CAN'T WAIT I wonder when the DLC will be ready for download?
Bloodborne DLC tomorrow, CAN'T WAIT I wonder when the DLC will be ready for download?
Tomorrow? It comes out on the 24th. Few more days man.
Then why are some sites saying it releases on the 20th? [editline]19th November 2015[/editline] Oh nevermind, I just realized the free update with the new NPC is the 20th, the actual DLC is later.
One thing the patch notes didn't mention, the Chikage now has a sick blood trail effect. Also, there are two new items. Well, 3 actually.

[editline]20th November 2015[/editline] except bed of chaos, WAHT THE FUKC dude
If I got my Bloodborne disc (without DLC) in lets say, R2 and then somehow I got my hands on R3 or R1 version (with DLC) will the save file carry over? :worried:
Old Hunters has to be activated, here's how according to them
1. Defeat the boss of the Cathedral Ward and examine the altar in the back of the room to change the in-game time to night. 2. Go to the Hunter’s Dream and receive the Eye of a Blood-drunk Hunter from a messenger. 3. Go to the Oedon Chapel and leave via the left-hand exit to enter the square. 4. Go to the right-hand end of the square to trigger an event. This event will take you to the new area: the Hunter’s Nightmare. 5. Lighting the lamp in the new area will allow you to travel to and from the area via an Awakening Headstone in the Hunter’s Dream.
I was hoping to be able to play it immediately on Tuesday but I need to do more progression since both my characters are at the start of the game

[editline]20th November 2015[/editline] except bed of chaos, WAHT THE FUKC dude
And the audio/visual assault that's the entirety of Lost Izalith. Pitch black walls and Ceilings, neon orange glowing floor, and constant noise spam of the burning sound effect, all while dealing with the same large enemy copypasted a dozen times around in a large room.
Well, no shit, That entire chunk of the game is literally unfinished.
Well, no shit, That entire chunk of the game is literally unfinished.
its like someone was drunk one day and [t]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_z-5fprZti7s/TQLv6PGdGUI/AAAAAAAAHto/Im4FNK_PkkE/s1600/giggling.jpg[/t] hahaha, what if we just... RELEASE THIS AREA like that? hahahaha the idea of running through lava and everything is really cool, so is the area before the BoC, but its the worst area easily

It sucks, but that's the reality of publishers pushing the devs to release the game.
Every souls game including BB was rushed to some degree. It sucks, but that's the reality of publishers pushing the devs to release the game.
even then, they feel far more finished than certain other unnameable games I'd be pretty ok with dark souls being milked slightly more than it is now, but I feel like they are in the perfect zone of making new games and not rushing them [editline]20th November 2015[/editline] I hope dark souls never changes If I could get a new dark souls to spent 500+ hours into every year or every 2 years it'd be amazing
I'd love to see their idea for the Sci-Fi souls game, a cyberpunk one where you can augment yourself would make me lose my mind
Nah man, what we really need is Modern Souls. I want to invade people using a Chaos AK-47 and backstab people with a KA-BAR Knife.
I'd love to see their idea for the Sci-Fi souls game, a cyberpunk one where you can augment yourself would make me lose my mind
Deus Souls: Hollow Revolution
I'd love to see their idea for the Sci-Fi souls game, a cyberpunk one where you can augment yourself would make me lose my mind
Find some kind of rune-augment that unlocks special movesets per weapon Preorder would be istantaneous
