The fact casting spell and activating trinkets in Bloodborne consume silver bullets is a very poor design choice Then again I have this odd bias where I think you should use your bullets only to parry and nothing else, period

I wonder what the Bloodborne team where thinking when they made one of the fat guys with the mace that you can encounter in the Chalice dungeon roll about constantly like if he had his stamina hacked. Those enemies are a pure force of fuck you.

Is the DLC data in the 1.07 patch, or are we going to have to download it at midnight?
it's in the patch

I think they have less health than the other types too
The real bullshit is enemy hunters having infinite stamina, infinite bullets, and thousands of HP. When I killed the new hunter in the Forbidden Woods he was able to instantly shoot the instant after he got hit and swung the Hunter's Axe faster than my Saw Cleaver. I get that enemy hunters don't stand a chance in the brains department but they could make the bullshit less obvious.

Miyazaki also directed Armored Core 4 and there was an enemy in that game that obviously had unlimited energy and it was really hard to hit because it constantly dodged even when nothing was near it. The best way to beat it was to just leave the game and hope it dodged out of bounds and lost because even when it ran out of of ammo, you still would have a hard time hitting it
beat the third dlc boss. such a ridiculously cool fight. probably my favourite music track in the game. the dlc is amazing so far. it's more bloodborne what's not to love???
Yeah the hunters are unfortunately some of the worst fights in the entire game.
I wish the DLC added a way to respec at least once, but that's just me not wanting to put another like 50 hours to build a new character up to how I want it :v:

I'll have my bell on for most of the time for people to join for co-op, especially in chalice dungeons. Some of those fights are just murder when you try to solo, like that cunt with the chain balls all around him.
The Chikage guy can eat a dick and kill himself with his own sword.
Yeah, Hunters in general are pretty lame to fight against. I might be remembering wrong but i think NPC invaders werent so bad and blatant when it came to stats back in the Souls series. Might be dead wrong though. It can be pretty hard to be aggressive when enemies and bosses have poise and often hit like a truck usually, and trying to do damage to regain lost health is usually replied with more damage on top of that. I need to learn to not be too greedy and bank on the blood for levels and items before something stupid happens. Also to upgrade equipment more sooner, just being able to deal with regulars in half the required hits is a godsend. I think the reason why so many people (new people) got stuck with Cleric Beast was because they where told to be aggressive and it would often backfire. The NPC summons would has been nice to have at launch, but better late than never. Even if its just to take some heat off your back for a quick moment. Did they change anything relating to summoning players? It seems more frequent to me now, like the level range is larger or something. Also, is there any new items in the core game without Needing the downloaded key or is everything new found in the DLC area?
Alright, whoever at Fromsoft that has a boner for putting in huge enemies that deal insane damage and have a ton of health/defence needs a good talking to. [sp]Who's bright idea was it to put a cannon wielding Cthulhu giant in the game? Who's bright idea was it to give him a combo that can kill me in 3 hits and has stupid tracking? Who's bright idea was it to give him a lingering AoE cannon shot he can fire at his fucking feet?[/sp] Was Tanimura put in charge of that one enemy?
Yes, probably. I'm scared of Tanimura.
Oh man, Moonlight Greatsword's stats are so DELICIOUS. I'm so glad I decided to make a new strength/ arcane build just for it. [sp]B in strength and A in arcane while doing split damage of both? AND it can buff itself? AND it has its own projectile? Yes fucking PLEASE.[/sp]
dlc boss #4 is very hard. the fight is so aggressive i run out of vials 3/4ths in the fight. i'm liking the difficulty of the dlc so far though. my character is pretty high level so i wasn't expecting to have any trouble with the dlc since it's a mid game area, but it's refreshingly difficult. i feel like i'm trying to beat ebrietas for the first time again atm.
i just bought the dlc do i need to collect a key like the ds2 ones? [editline]24th November 2015[/editline] that guy guarding the beast cutter is a piece of shit
Playing Bloodborne DLC with my BF right now if anyone wants to watch http://www.twitch.tv/nidbutt
i love laying down notes in the new areas before everyone else i've been saved so many times today by getting notes rated
[sp]YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LUDWIG PULLING OUT THE MOONLIGHT GREATSWORD DURING THE FIGHT PITCHED A TENT SO HARD IT HURT[/sp]
i didn't even realise you can get the moonlight sword right after the first boss until i'd already reached the fourth boss the moonlight sword is amazing. finally found something i like more than my burial blade. the R2 and L2 are so fun to use.
Should I play the DLC on my first playthrought of my new character the moment I defeat Amelia or should I wait a bit first?
Should I play the DLC on my first playthrought of my new character the moment I defeat Amelia or should I wait a bit first?
Wait a bit. I made a new character for the DLC and I was getting my ass kicked last night. Granted, I went for a balanced build so I could try all the weapons so I am underpowered, but I would still recommend getting a decent weapon.
I'm currently trying to run a Skill/Bloodtinge build with the Rifle Spear, how impossible is this DLC gonna be for me? Cause i sure as shit don't wanna try and run it on my NG+ guy.
I always understimate Djura on my first playthrough When it comes to my strenght character, I assume I'll either wait to make him friendly or trick him into casting himself from the clock tower and die
Somebody post some pics for new DLC content My copy hasn't arrived yet. I even preorder it and shit
I dont have Bloodborne with me down where I now live, but if anyone wants a code for the Bloodborne Dynamic Theme and Digital Guide code I have one, since I can't apparently redeem them outside of the US :c
