I dont have Bloodborne with me down where I now live, but if anyone wants a code for the Bloodborne Dynamic Theme and Digital Guide code I have one, since I can't apparently redeem them outside of the US :c
Can't say I would mind
A particular weapon held by a particular starting enemy should have the biggest window to counter but can even hit me when he is in his dazed state
Can't say I would mind
Are you on the US PSN? [editline]24th November 2015[/editline] You see I bought the US release of the strategy guide so I only have US versions of the codes. I'd prefer to trade them for some european codes but I REALLY doubt anyone in the US bought the PAL guides :/
I gotta say i'm not a fan of these starter DLC enemies. Like they're pretty bullshit. Definitely gonna have to come back later.
Wow this place is badly slotted difficulty wise
Wow this place is badly slotted difficulty wise
I was surprised it could be accessed so early on before I played it and now that I have played it, I'm even more surprised. Certainly seems like it should be towards the end of the game. I have to say though, I'm enjoying it so far.
Dang the first DLC boss is kicking my ass really hard
Oh wow, despite being a similar weapon to another already in the game, one of the new weapons doesn't eat durability like crazy

I'm not even at the first new boss and already I am happy with my Arcane Strength build. [Sp]I am Boomhammer, destroyer of worlds[/sp]
I'm not even at the first new boss and already I am happy with my Arcane Strength build. [Sp]I am Boomhammer, destroyer of worlds[/sp]
If I can equip it along with the new shield, that's exactly what my strenght gal character is going to carry around from now on
The difficulty of this DLC throws all the weapon placements out of whack, there are a ton of unique items, some that are different attribute's alternate versions of old weapons [sp]Such as a weapon much like the default saw but with better skill scaling[/sp] but placed in such a way that you're going to have a hard time as a new character, let alone someone playing for the first time.
All this hype for the expansion... Im hype for DSP's playthrough on ng+

so many portraits of asses
Jesus Christ the [sp]Buzzsaw[/sp] is ridiculous. It breaks the game's physics when you use the charge attack
I've defeated Vicar Amelia and tried to explore the first area of the DLC, but I was basically one-shotted by the very first hostile hunter NPC you come across, so I decided to wait for now Something they added with the pre-DLC patch are this old hunters' bells points hidden around that allow you to summon a NPC to help you out While the usefulness of these NPCs can be discussed, I found my new Bloodborne waifu beside Eileen the Crow: old hunter Henriet from Cathedral Ward
I gotta say i'm not a fan of these starter DLC enemies. Like they're pretty bullshit. Definitely gonna have to come back later.
I dunno, I found them pretty easy once I got the timing down to parrying them. First encountered them on NG+ with my BF but even solo they weren't that difficult. After co-oping I went ahead and threw my freshly made character into the DLC despite being too low of a level 'cuz I got impatient. But even by myself and with a weak character I still got through just fine. Once you get the parrying down on them they're pathetically easy.
Man I feel like such a fucking scrub. On both my new character made for the DLC, going in as early as possible, and my NG+2 character I'm getting fucking ruined by Ludwig. I was getting pretty mad about it until I got to his second stage, where I discovered how ridiculously cool he is, now I don't feel so bad about getting murdered.
Shit, my DLC isn't working. I think way back when Bloodborne released I bought the digital Australian version (using an alt account) so I could play it a few days early as well as the UK disc version, so that means I'd have to download the DLC using the alt account as well in order for it to be available to my main, right? Can I get a refund on the DLC purchase for my main account? edit: just popped my BB disc in and it tried to download the 1.07 patch, definitely treating it as an entirely different game edit: tried letting the disc version update, started it up and all I get is 'new game'. Won't work with my current saves, shit. Oh well, I'll have to buy the DLC again then... I can't remember if I used my card directly or bought store credit, maybe I'm thinking of another time I used alt accounts

Weirdly i found it all easier on my NG+ character up until Bigaxe McCthulhubeard.
Jesus Christ [sp]Lady Maria[/sp] is fucking badass, can't beat the boss
I'm too lazy to figure out this prepaid card alternate store shit, so I'm just going to do something which requires way more effort and make a brand new character. What was the recommended level for the DLC again? 65? shit
I want to say i love all the music tracks in the DLC.
Cool thint about the DLC being placed where it is, is that if you know where some of the weapons are like the Beast Cutter, it's pretty easy to rush to them before you put too many resources in whatever weapon you started with.
God fucking damn it I must suck horribly [sp]Lawrence just kicks my ass, even with a co-op (NPC) buddy[/sp]
God fucking damn it I must suck horribly [sp]Lawrence just kicks my ass, even with a co-op (NPC) buddy[/sp]
Nah, it's just a pretty good fight
is there a bloodrock in the dlc? i never bothered with the dungeons to get more [editline]25th November 2015[/editline]
Cool thint about the DLC being placed where it is, is that if you know where some of the weapons are like the Beast Cutter, it's pretty easy to rush to them before you put too many resources in whatever weapon you started with.
apart from the reach the beast cutter doesnt look that good, im still using a +9 axe that you start with, i tried the wheel cos it looked interesting but i probably didnt spend enough on arcane to make it worthwhile
