have you guys noticed all the nightmare areas are connected to eachother and you can see them in the distance or notice other references between them - from the nigtmare of mensis you can look down to see the nightmare frontier - from the nightmare frontier you can look up to see the nightmare of mensis and can also look down to see the ruined ship masts of the fishing hamlet - from the fishing hamlet you can look down into the water at the entrance to see the entire city of the hunter's nightmare - in the research hall a lot of the patients say they hear water and say silly things like "drip, drop plip plop" because the area is literally underwater - in the hunter's nightmare, just before you get the pizza cutter a big snail creature will fall from the sky which came from the fishing hamlet

Late post probably, but since SotFS upgrade is 90% off, would it be a worthwile purchase now if I've already played DS2 with all the DLCs too?

The [sp]Surgery Hall[/sp] is an amazing area

I actually beat [sp]Kos[/sp] in just four tries, but god damn it was amazing. I had no vials left at the end, it was so tense overall I'd say it's a worthy final boss. But, I still strangely had an harder time with Mr. [sp]Ludwig[/sp].

I assume the females look different though.

And yes I know you can equip stuff over it, but its just armor that's put over parts of your character that have nothing equipped.

Aside from the rune's passive effect, that is.

Wow what the fuck is this [sp]Living Failures[/sp] bossfight? It's terrrrible.

Was playing around some more with the MLGS in chalice dungeons and found something interesting. The normal mode's R2 is a standard thrust attack, nothing special. But if you tap R2 again as a follow up it does a uppercut slash that sends your opponent flying in the air. And if you're trying to backstab and somehow stupidly miss with your charged thrust attack, the follow-up uppercut also counts as a backstab lol.

I'm thinking about making the threaded cane my default weapon (I'm on a heavy skill/some arcane build and my other option would be the blade of mercy and the [sp]rakuyo[/sp] from the DLC) My only issue is that I would have a very hard time with most bosses

The boom hammer is fun but I need to get used to the swings.

Not quite a Strength weapon but it's quick and the R1 into switch does a shot so you can get that quick attack in and a stagger on a bigger enemy and the charged 2H does a pretty good ranged charge in attack with solid damage.

It was well presented, the area and the music greatly helped it including [sp] the PK CelestialStorm[/sp]

Trying to reach level ~65, summoned Henryk for the shadows fight for shits and giggles and it was going awesomely, he was distracting the katana one, I got one shadow down, he went down leaving the others at a third health each but once I'd dispatched one the other cast like 5 snakes, all of which hit me, then his katana flame railgun hit me on the ground. Bullshit Beat them with probably my easiest kill right afterwards solo but just goes to show, don't use this awesome new summoning feature if you want to actually beat the game :tired: edit: I got a bell maiden both times using these old hunter marks, why punish so harshly? edit: Rom kills me at 2% health left, I just want to play the fucking DLC
