Dark Souls 1 runs like shit on my PC. Everything disabled and like, 25~ FPS.

Dark Souls 2 runs fucking amazing on my 2007 PC. Incredibly smooth. Never drops below the FPS cap.

How did they butcher DkS1 so badly?

It was their first port to PC and they didn't have any prior experience

This is fucking excellent, because in souls 1 and 2 sorceries are basically easy mode, and I like being a spell sword

but there's nothing holding me back from destroying any boss almost immediately either

Demons had Luck, Dks1 had Resistance and Dks2 had ADP.

That was the biggest issue, though: ADP wasn't useless. As far from useless as possible, actually. It made the early game feel really clunky (Estus etc.), made dodging too difficult and imprecise for new players, turned SL1 runs into a chore and was and still is utterly mandatory for any serious endgame build that's trying to be effective.

And at least luck in DES increased the damage of the Blueblood Sword, resistance didn't do shit.

I'm sorry but listening to the commentators is fucking hilarious. It sounds like a couple of guys very concentrated and having a very serious discussion and then you hear this occasional "WAAAAH" from a high pitched girl. Throw in some grunts and other sex noises too

Visually it looks really similar because its using the same engine as bloodborne but in terms of gameplay its more Demon/Dark souls. Everything in Bloodborne is way faster and you have the quickstep instead of the roll because of that.

Perhaps it is an assassin from the Lords Blade corrupted by whatever evil that is the big bad in DS3.
