I assume you're at the very first lamp?
I assume you're at the very first lamp?
If it'll make things easier, feel free to add me to PSN, under Foostini.
If it'll make things easier, feel free to add me to PSN, under Foostini.
Steam would be more convenient for me, honestly.
Steam would be more convenient for me, honestly.
I am also Foostini on steam :v:
If the Bloodborne wiki is anything to go by, you should attempt (emphasis on "ATTEMPT") the DLC in the 80-100 level range and with at the very least a weapon in the +7-+10 range
Guess Amygdala Arm isn't as good as I was hoping it to be in PvP, it barely scratches most players' health when I attack them, although the hitbox on most of the whip's attacks are godly. Perhaps my build isn't suited for it since it favors strength more than arcane, while the Moonlight Greatsword is the exact opposite. Meanwhile, the MLGS fucking DESTROYS people with my build. A regular R2 projectile immediately removes half of most player's health and a fully charged R2 pretty much one-shots (though actually hitting someone with it is impossible).
I'm a quality (heavily strength leaning right now though) build and the amyg arm is pretty poor in damage for PVP, especially against the saif user I was fighting I didn't know the charge R2 hit multiple times, I was under the impression the uncharged R2 hit twice and the charged R2 once. I guess I was moving before the attack finished

I've actually surprised a lot of people with it 'cuz they don't get expect to get slapped twice after dodging the first hit. [editline]28th November 2015[/editline] Oh, actually, it looks like I was incorrect on one thing. Regular R2 hits twice - one slam and a quick follow-up swipe. Charged R2 hits three times - one slam, and then 2 follow-up swipes. [editline]28th November 2015[/editline] Holy shit I just made a Chalice Dungeon that contains a messenger shop selling Lost and Uncanny versions of all the DLC weapons. Here's the glyph if you wanna' check it out. Cursed Lower Loran - ygnzcdhd Messenger shop is in Layer 2 while you can also find a Clawmark and Stunning Deep Sea Rune in Layer 1. Careful, though, this dungeon is complete bullshit and full of enemies that will one-shot you EASY.
So the only thing I have to do in this run of the game with my new character is defeat the three last bosses (Mergo's Wet Nurse and the two optional final bosses), so I think it's about time I started the DLC Only, I'm farming blood echoes at the Mergo's Loft: Middle lamp like crazy because I want to get those extra levels that'll give me even a little advantage I won't leave the Loft till I'll have 50 health, 40 endurance, 50 skill and 25 arcane (or maybe more, I can't say)

If Gehrman is a surrogate for Moon presence, then by killing Gehrman we became the surrogate. But we consumed the umbilical cord, and killed Moon presence. And then we replaced Moon Presence as the new great one. But the Hunter's Dream is still there. The doll is still there. Does that not mean that we (now a Great One) is still a surrogate for something? The doll is taking care of us as an infant Great One, does that mean anybody who became a Great One in Hunter's Dream is a surrogate child for the Doll? :mindblown:
it sounds like i missed something how do you fight [sp]kos[/sp] and the fishmen before [sp]laurence[/sp]
[sp]Laurence is optional. You don't even need to head back to the first lantern at all until after Kos [/sp] Your main target at the part where you get the skull is [sp]Maria[/sp] which leads directly to the next area. You wont use the skull right after cause he's way back in the first area.
Farming there with runes that give you more blood echoes is so OP, just killing the pigs and the enemies on the way there gives you about 60k lol
I allow the two pigs in the middle to pick a fight with the pack of shadows a bit further The method neats me 70-80 K echoes per run
Came back to the DLC level 76, managed to get[sp]Ludwig[/sp]down to half health first time, and now I'm starting to get used to fighting the[sp]sword form. I can't FUCKING BELIEVE that insane arcane tidal wave shit he does, didn't kill me but fuck I hate wasting vials for stupid reasons, and that has to be the most insane attack I've ever seen in any of these games, do you just run behind him or something? Anyway he's getting rekt by my pizza cutter so as long as I can get hits in he's going down, today[/sp] edit: The music is SO GOOD THOUGH edit2: GOT HIM. Holy shit [sp]That fucking sword is unreal, the way he mashes you into the ground with it. As long you delay your dodges it's manageable, I got caught out by his quick double slash but it's A-OK once you dodge the 3rd/4th swing and get regain as you hit him. The hitboxes on those arcane projectiles are huge though. I got him down to 5% last time, ran behind him to heal and he spun and projectiled me, the rage was unreal. Glad I got the fucker, only about 15 tries. Defiled doge fucked me up way more times[/sp] edit3: THAT RUNE![sp]I fucking love regain, glad to see I can boost it now[/sp]
I'm level 132 in ng++. How fucked am i? Should i roll a new charachter?
Is it possible to do a one-punch man build in Dark Souls 2? Doubtful that you'd be able to one-punch anything though... But at least come close to it.
So I put the eye pendant in the thing and now my screen went perpetually black, I assume this isn't the intended outcome edit: yep, was a bug. Holy lord though,[sp]Research hall is so cool. Echoes of Duke's Archives, except with a horrifying undertones, this game does horror better than horror games.[/sp] edit: Incredible, I just[sp]hit the lever at the top, I was right! Exactly like Duke's. This level design boggles my mind, you can even hop in and out of one of the elevators mid floor or drop into it. Level designer needs a raise[/sp]

Fuck the 1st boss of the dlc. I have farmed for 3 hours just so he wouldnt instant kill me and now i do so little damage with my +9 serrated blade that im all out of blood vials by the time i got him to the second phase
Stick close to his sides, and not his ass. Use the new summoning confederate NPC to tank shit for you and the fight will be a cake walk. Did it on my level 40 something character with a +6 beast cutter
Join the League, summon Valtr. Win.
I have joined the league alredy. How do i summon him?
I have joined the league alredy. How do i summon him?
If you look around the small area just before the boss room with the guy banging on the giant door, he's tucked away in a small alcove.
Oh hey i dident knew that, a few tries and curses later THE BITCH IS DEAD... jesus christ that was insane.. surprisingly enough his second phase is a LOT more dodgeable than the first one
Ludwig kicked the shit out of me. Am I supposed to dodge into his attacks like with paarl? I managed to get under him which let me get some free hits and avoid his attacks but then he did his stomping attack. How fucked is the rest of the world that people haven't moved out of Yharnam? I would not want to live in a place where all that fucked up shit happens and now I'm wondering how the bloodlickers are both in Cainhurst and Yharnam since Cainhurst has their own problems. And Paarl isn't the only darkbeast. The people there just live with undead skeleton monsters but without any of the magic to fight them with

The bloodlickers are only in Cainhurst, everything in the DLC takes place in a Nightmare so those bloodlickers technically aren't in Yharnam.
What do you mean? I haven't beaten it so I don't know what it really is
I assumed the nightmare is a previous hunt only the terrain has been twisted like what happens in dreams. I haven't beaten it so I don't know what it really is
The area is called THE HUNTER'S NIGHTMARE. It has literally nothing to do with Yharnam except for the environment looking like Yharnam? Same thing with Nightmare Frontier and Nightmare of Mensis.
The area is called THE HUNTER'S NIGHTMARE. Like it's someone's recurring dream of what happened in the past, only it's not a 100% recreation like how the dreams in Inception were based off real places but all woven together into something new
