Do I have to be standing inside the clocktower? Standing on the garden wont work?
Yeah you have to be standing in the entry way just before her fog door.
I've reset the area, rang the bell inside the entryway.
Try reloading the area too
Damn i fucked up too prematurely. Thats the fastest dead so far
Don't sweat it, it took me a bunch of tries and then summoning people myself. Add me to steam under Foostini so we don't clutter up the thread too much.
I wish there were more bloodrocks in the game. Sure my main weapons are fun but I can only get so much use out of the holy blade before I get curious about the others
Did about 30 invasions each on both my strength/arcane (MLGS) build and my bloodtinge (bowblade) build just now.
For MLGS I managed to only win 11 invasions out of 30 and 3 of them were just flukes (host falling off a ledge, host died to random enemy, etc.)
For bowblade I got 29 wins out of 30, with my one loss being because I got ganked hard the moment I spawned (it's like they somehow knew exactly where I would pop up).
I wouldn't say bloodtinge builds are "overpowered", rather I think they make the playing field evenly fair because it allows you to survive in fights where you're always outnumbered. Rather with any other build I gotta' fight incredibly hard just to survive longer than 10 seconds. I have yet to try Kos Parasite on my arcane build, so maybe that's the one weapon that might make arcane builds more viable in gank spanks. But we'll see I guess.

Kos parasite is too slow for all 1vX
Kos parasite is too slow for all 1vX
That's what I'm afraid of, but it seems to be really good in 1v1 fights from the few people I fought that used them. The hitbox on their attacks are crazy huge.
Playing Dank Memes 2: special edition and literally every phantom is invisible. NPC phantoms load in fine but all player phantoms are invisible. Makes PvP invasions unplayable.
Is there any way to fix this?
Not much of help but have you checked if your graphic card's performance on the game? Mine wasn't set high so i couldn't see bloodstain, summon signs and various effect like fireballs, healing even from bosses.
Took me hours to beat the final boss because of that :v:
I've faced off against [sp]Ludwig[/sp] after co-operating many times as training for his second phase. When I got to his amazing second phase cutscene, a bug happened and he died right after the scene. I've been denied everything...EVEN MY EPIC SHOWDOWN!!
The exact same thing happened to me too, Did you summon anyone for the fight?

I have never heard of this problem before. What are your specs?

I summoned Valtr and someone else. Don't know if that means anything.
During those co-op training sessions with beckoners, I've encountered some "unique" people. One of them being a weapon-less wizard(His name was "A Wizard?!") who did nothing but arcane spells the entire fight with Ludwig. Funny and awesome at the same time. Will post a video of that plus something I discovered while exploring the lower part of the Clocktower before the "eye pendant elevator."

I once got a guy who showed up with no armor and ludwig's holy cheese. I thought he was going to be some super-confident badass who didn't need armor because he doesn't get hit but he went down early. I don't even think he was trolling, he made a serious effort but got unlucky.
Maria's Set looks great on Maria.
But not on me

As you can quite clearly see I am an Elite Gamer

I'm surprised the game even runs at a stable framerate with those specs.
[editline]oh right[/editline]
As far as your invisible phantoms go, not sure if there's really any way to fix that. Sounds to me like your computer just simply isn't powerful enough to run it properly. I think I read somewhere on how to get DS2 to run on something as cheap as those shitty Intel HD Graphics chips, but I have no idea if the steps taken could even be applied to you. I guess try updating the drivers on your graphics card and see if that changes anything.

It's actually been surprisingly stable. 60fps for most areas, though it tends to dip when my phantoms actually show up.
I never had this problem in DS2 proper. Dark Souls 1 runs like absolute shit but it's playable and I don't get invisible dudes. It's just strange, but I guess I'll manage.
This just happened to my friend a few hours ago. :v:

So the Boom Hammer is going really well, it's surprisingly powerful and the knockdown is excellent and with the AoE on ground slams it works great on group enemies. Still wanting a back up weapon though, not sure what to go with. Also you'd figure Rom would be a more common boss for people to co-op but i always wait around for hours.

I think people don't co-op Rom because she's really not fun and nobody wants to fight her again.
Now Shadows of Yharnam, that's a fun fight. Especially when it's 3v3 and it starts off like a gang fight

A lot of the bosses aren't nearly as fun in co-op imo. That said, the Abhorrent Beast with three hunters is hilarious because you can stagger him to death.
Abhorrent beast was hard when I fought him outside cathedral ward. I should have fought him seriously instead of poisoning him but I don't do well against the super violent bosses like Ludwig and the Moon Presence.
I just got Bloodborne. Speaking of coop, what is the best places to get summoned? I like helping players in Dark Souls.

Any of the bosses ofc.
Any of the bosses ofc.
yeah, wait right outside of the boss arena. People don't really summon help to get through a level but sometimes it happens. It's the bosses that are tough, not the basic enemies(unless it's outside Cainhurst Castle but you'll see it when you get there)
I pretty much summon for every area and boss. I've made it through the game once and a lot of the late game areas are annoying as sin, so it helps me build up a new character faster and makes it fun for other people looking for some co-op action.
Anyone got some good DS2 builds for the Arced Sword?
darkroot garden in dark souls 1 is relentless
i went there as a weird fat onion jew intended for PvE and won against like atleast 20 people
although i probably lost atleast just as much
I summoned Valtr and someone else. Don't know if that means anything.
I actually did the exact same thing. Might be a co-op issue then

It's interesting cause whenever I've played, I've been completely incapable of finding a single person, whether I'm summoning or trying to be summoned.
