I do remember i helped about 5 or 10 times per boss in Dark Souls 2 with a single character. From Dragonrider until the final boss. People always wanted help or wanted some jolly co-op. Sadly the hardest to accomplish was the Ivory King DLC Challenge area which i only managed to fully help 2 people with 1 adding me for big thanks. Dual wielding straight swords with Faraam Set co-op :v:
Just starting SOTFS for the first time and I heard there was a ring to limit SL or SM (-gain)? What's a point I should stop at or keep in mind? Played the game plus 2/3 DLC before, so no need to preserve my first playthrough experience or anything.
to be fair, dark souls is a game you really have to play early on to get the full experiance every day of souls 2 for me was filled with signs EVERY location at every SL/M was just SIGNS now it's very rare I'll see ANY in some locations like no mans warf unless at a lower SM
Dark Souls 2 at launch was amazing. Reading about it now you'd figure being a sun bro is damn near impossible, but at launch I was getting back to back summons. I could log on for an hour and come out of it with 10 or 12 boss kills. Related: Once my SM became too high for most other places I went to Velstadt. Man I hope they have that ring in DkS3. http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-DS2SFS/dark-souls-ii-scholar-of-the-first-sin
I was going to get it last Steam sale but I figured I don't really need to because I have the original and season pass, and DkS3 is coming out soonish. What do you guys think? Anyone invest heavily in the DX9 version thinks the DX11 version is worth it at this price?
Anyone else have any weird headcanons? Like i totally imagine Cleric Beast and Amelia being husbando and waifu.
Anyone else have any weird headcanons? so uh, I'm a bit lost here I defeated Ornstein and Smough (still wondering why the two are paired together) and I placed the Lordvessel at the Firelink Altar (did it very quickly so I must've missed something) What happens now? Am I supposed to go through the (now unlocked) yellow fog doors?

Four Kings, Nito, Seath the Scaleless and Bed of Chaos. Getting and placing the Lordvessel opens the way to the them.
Funny. I don't remember seeing 4Kids in the opening cinematic.
They are there... Somewhere. [sp]I don't actually remember well the intro, okaaaaay?[/sp]
Funny. I don't remember seeing 4Kids in the opening cinematic.
"Gwyn, the Lord of Sunlight, and his faithful knights."
I still remember when bloodborne first came out and people all thought the cleric beast was ludwig
I still find it weird that Paarl is only one of the darkbeasts and there are so many out there and they're just things that exist in their world. The Bloodborne world is weird because it has all the horrible monsters and things that come with a fantasy setting, but they have no magic or wizards to fight them with. They just use their own body parts against them
The Four Kings aren't mentioned in the intro because they were bequeathed a piece of Gwyn's soul later on. Much like Seath, but he was important enough to be mentioned in the intro. [sp]You only get 2 lord souls to reach Gwyn.[/sp]
4kids were humans and most likely became elevated to their status way after the war with the dragons
Am I the only one who absolutely despises PvP? Dunno about BB, but when someone intentionally invades you, they're not coming for a fight, they're basically there to ruin your day. It's a 99% chance guarantee that they'll be using the most twinked out, PvP specific crazy gear and on top of that you've got the awful P2P netcode making fights almost impossible. The game doesn't specifically aim to make you not have fun, and when it does it, it tries to be really obvious about it i.e when you light the little lady's head on fire in the Undead Crypt for SotFS and spawn all the dudes. Granted, you don't lose anything but like a minute or two of your time, but it just feels wasteful. The one good fight you get with an actual human being every now and then isn't enough to make the other 12 shitty, horrible ones worth it. Edit: this is probably an awful post but I'd be 100% okay with all PvP in DS3 being opt in only except for NPC invasions. Hope my friends buy SotFS soon to make this experience less garbage.
this is probably an awful post
maybe you're just unskilled
maybe you're just unskilled
Ho ho Xd funny meme pictures & sayings I dunno, I'm fairly okay. Checking my last playthroughs and I've only had about 15 deaths, DLC not included because I haven't done that yet. Actual voluntary arena PvP where you're both aiming to be dickheads is actually pretty great and I can understand lagging out there since hell, I signed up for it, but when I get invaded it's just a guaranteed 2-3 minute stay of not having fun, being tired for a bit, and then getting back into the flow of the game again regardless of outcome. Even if I win it's because I was the one that won the lag roulette, feels like shit anyways.

Watchdog PvP if you plan playing online, it tells how many connections you have and solves some issues like the name crash when using unrecognized symbols. There is also DSmfix which makes using keyboard + mouse a good option.

Nobody is making you take part in the online activity, summoning is just as much of a lag roulette and potential waste of time because of idiots. [editline]10th December 2015[/editline]
That's some furry tier shit man.
So play offline? Nobody is making you take part in the online activity, summoning is just as much of a lag roulette and potential waste of time because of idiots.
That's the worst argument dude, smh. "if you don't like the frosting, you should throw the whole cake into the garbage." There's a difference between summoning a dude/being summoned and doing stupid shit vs a guy showing up without your permission in your game with the express purpose of stopping you from having fun. I'll give you that the 1 time in the 100 or so invasions that I've had when a guy shows up intending to actually fight me is a fun and dynamic experience that spiced my game up. But that's not enough to justify the hour or so I've wasted getting lagged out/lagging other people out.
That's the worst argument dude, smh. "if you don't like the frosting, you should throw the whole cake into the garbage."
It's not supposed to be an argument it's the only reasonable solution to your problem. Don't know what other replies you expect.
when I get invaded in bloodborne, I just mess with the invader by playing hide and seek
PvP is part of the game, you deal with it and perphaps you only get the worst outcome in those judging by how negative you sound. Invasions are invasions, it's literally what it means so don't expect anything clean. Dark Souls 2 and Bloodborne have some fuckass NPC and some of them act like real players, ruining your day. Fromsoft is likely telling you to deal with it, if not just stay offline or join in ganks where you'll likely have a better outcome. Gear wise, it's how the game works, man. PvE and PvP. There's always something that outshines others and people will pick it.
Kos parasite is slow, but the stagger, oh boy And people seems to be scared of it. Invaders practically never stay within 10 meter radius after I show them my tentacly explosion. And they didnt seem to be able to predict when I'm attacking. I loik
