Lady Maria is one of the easiest boss fights ever due to all her attacks [sp]in all three phases[/sp] being parryable Maybe it's just me though, given, being armed with the cane and a hunter's pistol, without anyone of those scum weapons or those powerful useless spells, I had to perfect my parrying skills very early in the game
And dodging to her right will avoid the majority of her attacks. [editline]17th December 2015[/editline] Then you can fuckin' wail on her and shit.
pizza cutter too op for base game, especially as you can get a early +5 not sure if i can be bothered fighting [sp]ludwig[/sp] early for the mgs

Not that I don't like parries, but that I feel like it's a little too easy a win for some reason; since it's a gun parry and they're pretty easy to do IMO. Doesn't mean I won't parry if I have to survive :v: . I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't feel like I actually had the struggle against the boss if I can just rely on parries and the invulnerability frames. I feel it takes a little away from that feeling of overcoming a huge obstacle. Fighting [sp]gerhman without parries was singlehandedly one of the most intense boss fights I've played[/sp]

You didn't like any of new DLC items? Old hunters bone would seems like it benefits you other than the bullet loss but the effect is pretty short and it's pretty hard to make proper use of it. I can't give up the empty phantasm shell for my Saif.

I either don't like the other weapons that much or they don't fit with my primary build (skill and arcane) The deal with the hunter items as a whole is that, in my opinion, no utility they can grant you will ever be as useful as stopping an enemy attack in his track, stun him AND open him up for a move that deals MASSIVE damage
I use whatever weapon fits my mood tbh. Usually I use the holy blade and blades of mercy, but I'm pretty familiar with the threaded cane and the stake driver too
pizza cutter too op for base game, especially as you can get a early +5 not sure if i can be bothered fighting [sp]ludwig[/sp] early for the mgs
Beast blood pellet + pizza cutter is insane.
I haven't been able to try most of the dlc weps since I haven't gone too far into it at all since I've been busy with fallout, ffxiv, and holiday shit whoops meant to merge
you can get the pizza cutter butcher set and a couple of chunks in 5 minutes if you know where they are, thats all i did so far in the dlc for my new playthrough
the holy blade
Scum.
Scum.
Man, fuck off. I like big swords and Ima use big swords. If you don't like it, keep that shit to yourself.
Scum.
Having opinions on weapons is fine (I think Beasthunter Saif is cheesy as hell in PvP), but directly insulting someone like that is pretty shitty of you. [editline]17th December 2015[/editline]
That's pretty low all things considered, looks like I can still play everything on max.
8 GB of RAM? That's much higher than I was expecting. I was thinking it was gonna' be like 4 GB or something. Everything else seems pretty low, though. Glad I upgraded all my parts recently. i7-4790k and 980 GTX master race.~
The only real thing I'd call scummy is rapiers in ds2 PvP pre stunlock nerf. But that's PvP, use whatever the fuck you want in solo play.
Just started Bloodborne DLC, has anyone else noticed that the big guy's movesets are very similar to Asteroth from Soul Calibur games?
Just started Bloodborne DLC, has anyone else noticed that the big guy's movesets are very similar to Asteroth from Soul Calibur games?
There's a lot of "big guys" in the dlc, you're gonna have to be more specific.
Scum.
why is it scum it owns nobody has elaborated on this yeah ok sure. use your shittier weapons for no reason ???
i thought there was supposed to be a beast transformation with the dlc?
Scum.
I swear you've made the exact same post about Ludwig's Holy Blade a few days ago, and people rated you dumb for it even back then. Did you honestly believe that it would go better if you did it again? There's nothing scummy about Ludwig's, anyway. So I just don't get it.
There's a lot of "big guys" in the dlc, you're gonna have to be more specific.
If it refers Asteroth, then it's probably the big Ctulhu enemies.
If it refers Asteroth, then it's probably the big Ctulhu enemies.
I agree and he's pretty correct, some of the moves are exactly like his.
i thought there was supposed to be a beast transformation with the dlc?
It's a rune.
I'm doing chalice dungeons again and I ran into Rom. Fuck this. So on top of fighting him in this cramped room(at least I have pillars to block his ice attack), I have to fight him again later in the main storyline. Fighting him is so boring. It's not even the kind of fight that keeps you on your toes
I love everything about Rom except for the fight.
I love everything about Rom except for the fight.
[sp]How did she, a regular human, become a Great One and NOT be the butt end of some twist in the transformation? Despite appearances, she's so into their power that she can hide the BLOOD MOON from people to keep everyone sane. Killing her brings destruction to Yharnam, but gives you the chance to kill Mergo and stop the plague.[/sp]

The whole [sp]buildup of the story through the 1st half of the game to rom; such a great experience[/sp] unrelated: found a little bit of numbing mist footage from the launch week of bloodborne and figured I'd make a small vid out of it. The 2nd guys reaction always made me laugh.
can someone pretty much kill Ludwig for me??? i'm level 37, but apparently you can match with any level if you use a password. I just want to get the mlg sword as early as possible.
So why did the notes tell us to "hunt the great ones"? Aside from the locations where a lesser amygdala grabs you, they don't really do anything. What even is the source of the scourge? I think it was the moon presence since it makes sense that you're collecting blood echoes from scourge victims to feed it but it also seems like it was caused by the church. I don't think the church knew about the moon presence, they just knew about the great ones and had Ebrietas but the moon presence is a workshop secret
