Magic has always been kinda overpowered since Demon's Souls.
I didn't even know all these could drop at the same time

But if they're unique, non-respawning enemies, you'll always recieve the items if you just killed the last such enemy in the game. From your screenshot, I see you just defeated the last Gargoyle in the game. Since there will be no further chances for you to get their random drops after this point in your current run, the game just gives them to you outright.

If so, neat, but if not so, then it should totally be. Fuck farming, specially with the advent of SM in DS2. Speaking of which, will DS3 have SM?
Nope, matchmaking is going back to soul level.
Neat! When doing co-op runs I like to do character building and SM was ridiculously restrictive; can't pop souls, can't do areas that your partner didn't do, can't co-op specific bosses, etc. The only positive thing to take away from SM was that it kinda stopped PvP twinks in low level areas, but with those being one or two invasions by absolutely no-skill players that end in about 20s it wasn't really a problem to begin with.
I'm doing a NG+ run right now and I'm in Sens Funhouse, if you want to watch me die repeatedly come check out my stream. I'll also be human the entire time so I'm expecting invasions, stream snipers or not.
Soul memory made me realize that there really wasn't any "unique" builds, everybody kinda eventually just dumped a ton of points into everywhere and it basically worked. I saw waaay too many jackofalltrades builds.

The gargoyle halberd and shield could never drop for you, though they do have a high enough drop rate that you'll typically get them by the time all the gargoyles are dead.
Streams over, got to the 4 kings and died enough times to make me realize I needed a break. I'll get good at this game someday. [editline]18th December 2015[/editline] I'd join her in "jolly cooperation" and leave my summon sign all over her. [editline]18th December 2015[/editline] If you know what I mean
Are you saying you'd fill her estus flask?
Are you saying you'd fill her estus flask?
Not only that, I'd also kindle her flame while I'm at it. [editline]18th December 2015[/editline] She'd suck all the humanity out of me and leaving me feelin' hollow. [sp]I'm done and I'm sorry.[/sp]
suck her dick
But can she handle your sunlight spear?
She's called the queen of sunlight for a reason.

I just assumed the same was true of all unique gear drops like that.
Speaking of DS1, should we host a Facepunch fight club
SL 200 or go home
SL 200 or go home
It'll take forever to get EVERYONE to SL200
I'm glad DS3 is coming, i hate the summoning system in Bloodborne, getting summoned near a lamp while the host is thousand miles away speedrunning the area and kept finding him 4 times.
SL 200 or go home
Anyone over SL125 is a casul who can't make a proper build.
you mean anyone over sl100
you mean anyone over sl100
Yea I guess, too bad my SL100 builds are Yuka and Giant Dads :v:
I can host a fightclub whenever people are ready for one. If it's gonna' be DS1, I'd hold it in Sen's Fortress where the gate-unlocking giant is. If it's gonna' be DS2, I'd hold it Heide's Tower just before Ornstein's boss arena.
What we're going to hold an actual battle? And all my good saves are on PS3 RIP
What we're going to hold an actual battle? And all my good saves are on PS3 RIP
That was the intent Possibly Dark Souls 1... I'm a bit biased since I don't own Dark Souls 2 (and even then there's the whole 32bit / 64bit debacle) PC [editline]20th December 2015[/editline]
you mean anyone over sl100
125 is okay, 100 is for fine works of balancing art
Let's all be level 1 twink characters instead. Yeah, that totally sounds like fun.

Unless you're talking about vanilla DS2 and SotFS. [editline]19th December 2015[/editline] So are we doing this or what? We need to decide on a time.
