People need to stop dying to [sp]The Orphan of Kos.[/sp] Out of ten co-op sessions, only four of them got to the second phase before getting killed. The rest either get too greedy with hits, have the boss chase them around the shore, or have the boss get me while the summoner takes too long to find an opening. I just need one insight and all the sessions will teach me on how to avoid his attacks.
I can just tell I'm in the area right before finding that boss. Going through the DLC first time on NG+ wasn't the best idea, but it sure felt like the dark souls/bloodborne struggle all the way through. Simons bowblade is so sexy looking
Getting the Rakuyo is gonna be tricky...
apparently those giants in that area can be parried more easily than others in the game
I mean, that's essentially Lords of the Fallen and we saw how that went. I only got like an hour into that before quitting.
Lords of the Fallen did heavy armor gameplay really well IMO. If there's one thing to take away from that entire game, it's gotta be how powerful & slow heavy armor was. You legitimately felt like you had just given your guy the heaviest armor, the animations, the rolls, the SFX... Great, honestly.
I do hope DS3 has that or something similar to it. I'd be happy with DS1's heavy armor mechanics, but if we got to be as unstoppable as the dude was, I wouldn't complain.
OK boys, time to get serious with that Dark Souls fight club thing
With christmas coming near, it seems that the best way to celebrate would be dishing out some festive beatings to each other
I'm going to be creating a Steam group shortly. In the mean time, would you guys mind letting me know what your preferred SL / game location / time would be? Possibly in the first game
How come you guys were going on about SotFS being like 2 bucks? It's £8 on Steam for me.

Regional pricing babbbyyyyyyyy.
The US seems to be the only territory that actually gets it good consistently from Valve. Everyone else kinda gets some hit and miss shit I've noticed.

You can say yes but dear god Fromsoft has a boner for slow attacks and because these giants deal so much damage and have a bad RNG, it makes them annoying.
It messes up my head whenever i see the slowest attack in the game that can also track well, it's plain stupid.

I swear attacks with slow wind ups are more deadly than a flurry of fast attacks with fast to no windups. I can roll or time blocks like crazy, but when a guy starts winding up and only unleashes the attack after a cure for cancer comes out, it seriously fucks me up. It's like it mindgames you.

You try and dodge the attack only for the enemy to turn 350degrees and nail you
uugh

He's a hard boss, insanely aggressive, lots of range, hard-hitting etc. It took me several days of effort and me and a cooperator cheesing it at range for it to die. Besides, people make mistakes and with him, one mistake can easily be death.

He's one of the fastest, most aggressive bosses there are in a From Soft game, he's probably among the fastest bosses in general and he hits like a truck. It's not a surprise people are having a hard time fighting him. I still haven't come close to killing him.

If you're free, i'll help throw myself at him a few times

If you can help me tomorrow that'd be great. I'm busy trying to not fuck up building a PC right now.
holy FUCK the skeleton beasts in NG+ Tomb of the Giants are a pain in the ass
tomb of giants is always a pain in the ass
tomb of giants is always a pain in the ass
I could just DPS them down without flinching at first but now I actually have to be careful
To be honest, speedrun strats are a lot safer in tomb of Giants
I remember back in the day where I first got DS2 and how much I hated the Bastard Sword.
Now, I fucking love it. It's my go-to weapon for PvP, the moveset is actually pretty damn good for baiting attacks and making combos.

I got myself 27 vials against him
[sp] This motherfucker made me use 20 vials in his second phase just because i missed a hit and it kept jumping and throwing blood bombs all the time.[/sp]
He's not by any meaning, a boss that players can take him lightly, considering he's a pure DMC\Ninja Gaiden boss incarnate.

I feel like I'm a really boring person because in both DkS1 and 2 I just stick with the longsword because I like it's speed and moveset. I really wish it had that heavy attack stab in 2 like it does in 1 though.
[editline]23rd December 2015[/editline]
Also, Hunter's Axe is my favorite weapon in Bloodborne. It's moveset is great. Spin to win.

Kirkhammer will always be my girl.
I do wanna try the church pick on a dex build, though.
I feel like the kirkhammer's hammer form should punish harder
I feel like the kirkhammer's hammer form should punish harder
I think it should crack the ground and produce a bone crunching sound when it lands on something with bones
Kirkhammer is trash because you need to land the hammer hit directly or else all you do is whiff the enemy and do shit for damage with the splash.
I always ended up using the sword for that reason. you had to practically be touching the enemy for the hammer to do max damage. at least the sword did bonus church damage

I have zero chance of even making a good trailer, but maybe I'll try whipping something up.
[editline]whoops[/editline]
Gonna' stream myself trying to take on Ludwig at level 46.
http://www.twitch.tv/nidbutt
Think I can do it? Let's find out.
[editline]god dammit[/editline]
Ooooorrr not. Dropping frames like mad. Guess my internet is too shit tonight.
-snip, sorry, thought it would automerge-
Alright, Level 27 and I'm gonna try to somehow kill Ludwig.
I am READY for anal annihilation.
Now I wonder if I can somehow summon someone
[editline]24th December 2015[/editline]
Pretty Raccoon Princess: I do
Pretty Raccoon Princess: less than 30 damage
Pretty Raccoon Princess: and
Pretty Raccoon Princess: I literally cant fight it
Pretty Raccoon Princess: it's like
Pretty Raccoon Princess: trying to fight a bear
Pretty Raccoon Princess: with a toothpick
Pretty Raccoon Princess: a broken toothpick
Pretty Raccoon Princess: made of water
Pretty Raccoon Princess: so a wet fist
Pretty Raccoon Princess: I'm fighting a bear with a wet fist

Ludwig is no doubt the second hardest boss in the game behind the lonely sea babby.
Ludwig is no doubt the second hardest boss in the game behind the lonely sea babby.
Nah I think Ludwig's pretty easy compared to them. In my opinion, from hardest to easiest, it's:
Orphan of Kos
Laurence
Ludwig
Lady Maria
Living Failures
K now I'm level 37 and have a +6 Pizza Cutter with some gems.
Let's try ludwig again
