Ludwig is no doubt the second hardest boss in the game behind the lonely sea babby.
The only threatening attack is the delayed multi hitting swipe that comes up with a follow up. Otherwise dodge to your left and stay on him. Orphan of Kos remains the hardest by breaking the game and Laurence due to how bad planned his phase 2. Meanwhile Ludwig's Holy Blade, Kirkhammer and Pizza Cutter +10, i'm so tempted in fully upgrading Ludwig's Rifle and Repeating Pistol :v:
I keep dying to something really stupid, and I've summoned the same dude every time. I bet he thinks I'm a total moron
I have zero chance of even making a good trailer, but maybe I'll try whipping something up. [editline]whoops[/editline] Gonna' stream myself trying to take on Ludwig at level 46. http://www.twitch.tv/nidbutt Think I can do it? Let's find out. [editline]god dammit[/editline] Ooooorrr not. Dropping frames like mad. Guess my internet is too shit tonight.
After 3 hours of pain and suffering later... [sp]I cheated and used Valtr for help on my last attempt.[/sp]
So is SOTFS still $2 in America or was that a glitch
I feel like I'm a really boring person because in both DkS1 and 2 I just stick with the longsword because I like it's speed and moveset. I really wish it had that heavy attack stab in 2 like it does in 1 though. [editline]23rd December 2015[/editline] Also, Hunter's Axe is my favorite weapon in Bloodborne. It's moveset is great. Spin to win.
Make that two boring people then. I absolutely love the Longsword in DS1 and how very few can come up with a counter against it Is there a weapon similiar to it in Dark Souls 2?
I always ended up using the sword for that reason. you had to practically be touching the enemy for the hammer to do max damage. at least the sword did bonus church damage
The kirkhammer is at least 7 times cooler, though.
so (dlc) [sp]Maria[/sp] was one of the most fun boss fights I ever had. Like, I kept dying, but the fight itself was so fun I had no qualm trying it again, and it didn't get stale with 3 phases. I actually sat down for about 2 hours and just tried until I got it. It almost felt bad winning, because it meant I wouldn't have that excitement anymore. [sp]Orphan of Kos however can eat a dick[/sp]
Make that two boring people then.
The kirkhammer is at least 7 times cooler, though.
Kirkhammer is a heavy stylish weapon and it still kicks ass, it's just not as easy to land like other weapon but it's still worth it
I was looking into it and as far as I can tell the Sun Sword has the same heavy attack stab as the DS1 longsword
Don't you need to offer like 30 medals or something crazy like that?
I must be really weird, I guess. [sp]OoK[/sp] wasn't nearly as bad as [sp]Ludwig[/sp]. Just backstab/parry him when you get a good opportunity.
Lots of new victims in the forest thanks to the 5$ sale and people getting hyped for DaS3. Nothing is more satisfying that backstabbing a red phantom that's popping a humanity and killing them, just to end up torturing the poor host who can't use his estus due to a well placed lloyds talisman.
I finally beat Laurence. Thank you TheLonelyRhino, you are a great player
So are the guns in Bloodborne like the parry function from Dark Souls? I think I dazed something once with my pistol. I think I need to get into proper parrying to get past those two black werewolf things in Central Yharnam cuz they tear me apart mostly
Yeah guns parry/stun the enemy, the difference is that consumes bullets, damages the enemy and stunning makes them vulnerable to bigger damage or the Visceral attack aka riposte. I greatly enjoy shotguns
So are the guns in Bloodborne like the parry function from Dark Souls? I think I dazed something once with my pistol. One other thing about parrying with pistols, don't be so close that you're touching. It greatly increases your chances of missing
Don't you need to offer like 30 medals or something crazy like that?
20 medals. Thats pretty much the only thing keeping me from getting it. I hate doing multiplayer in and Souls game.
I don't mind it but it sucks getting covenant items when the games aren't hella active and are rife with the co-op issues that they are.
The Foot Soldier Sword also has a stab as it's heavy one handed attack, but its worse than the longsword when it comes to scaling. [editline]24th December 2015[/editline] Oh, the Fume Sword does too apparently
Aw yeah, killed Ludwig and then Martyr Logarius right after. Best sword and best hat get
The Foot Soldier Sword also has a stab as it's heavy one handed attack, but its worse than the longsword when it comes to scaling. [editline]24th December 2015[/editline] Oh, the Fume Sword does too apparently
Fume Sword is pretty great but it's arguably as annoying to get and upgrade as the Sun Sword.
20 medals. Thats pretty much the only thing keeping me from getting it. I hate doing multiplayer in and Souls game.
I like co-op in DS, so it's no biggie for me, but damn... if Covenant of Blood or whatever had a cool weapon attached to it I'd die. PvP is killer for me.
I think I found my new favorite armor [t]http://i.imgur.com/8cATFJg.jpg[/t] God the DLC is so good [editline]25th December 2015[/editline] Oh yeah and some kind fellow essentially cheesed two bosses for me. He used a Gatling Gun and nothing else and was named Gatling-Gun-Man. I don't know who he was, how he did what he did, or how he knew I wanted to kill both Ludwig and this King asshole, but he was there. Now I have the two items I wanted to get most (moonlight sword and crown) Thank you Gatling-Gun-Man, and Merry Christmas
I want to get the Gatling Gun for my Djura playthrough but fuck even getting to that Hunter at level 40 or so, let alone fighting him.
I fired the gattling gun and all invaders scampered to safety in fear. There's only 1 catch: I'm arcane built :v:
[t]http://i.imgur.com/8cATFJg.jpg[/t]
Wait, what feet are those?
Both pieces are from the Decorative Old Hunter set, iirc you can find it in the Research Hall.
I sort of wished Djura and Eileen were summonable hunters, a shame but oh well.
Both pieces are from the Decorative Old Hunter set, iirc you can find it in the Research Hall.
I've never actually bothered searching the Research Hall throughly A mistake I have to rectify, apparently
Does heavier armor in Bloodborne reduce side step distance?
