Yes, it's literally a glorified shooting gallery. That's pretty much the whole game, it's a half-assed iOS title made to capitalize on the Metal Gear popularity.

I also hate the whole "but the bosses are horrendous bullet sponges because Kojima wanted to capture the Monster Hunter audience" thing. Kojima should be creating trends, not following bad ones.

Peace Walker isn't all bad but god it has some fucking horrendeous shit, and the good parts aren't nearly as good as the other games. I love the comic book style cutscenes though.

Yeah I liked Peace Walker, save for the actual Peace Walker boss battle.

i absolutely hate Peace Walker. the writing went completely off the deep-end (Hot Coldman, are you kidding) and ruined the Boss, and the gameplay isn't even that fun. the base management was the only redeeming part.

She was a stoic, emotionless woman who went on a suicide mission for the US. How did Peace Walker even ruin her? By having an AI very slightly based on The Boss's personality? The rest are valid complaints, though. Hot Coldman was just awful.

I feel like the only person who genuinely loves Peace Walker.

As a PSP game played in bursts it's a lot of fun but I could easily see it pissing me off if I were doing it on console for more than 2 hours at a time.

peace walker is fun in a lot of ways but it has the worst writing of any MGS game which really sucks it feels like a saturday morning cartoon based off Metal Gear with silly villains and tech way too advanced for the time

I will secretly always regret never buying that stupid jacket when I had the chance from the official retailer. Even if it's as unwelcome as a fedora I wanted it just to have as a really really really expensive piece of memoribillia

Peace Walker feels like an incomplete game to me with the tiny levels that ends up with you being stuck in a menu with tons of loading screens. I get that the levels aren't long because it was portable game, but it just feels like you're just doing the same thing again and again. It's not a terrible game, it's just not a good MGS game.

I love PeaceWalker and have played hundreds of hours of coop on it.
