Metal Gear Solid - Tactical Megathread Action VIII - We Are Diamond Dogs!

I honestly want him to be done with Metal Gear or anything closely related to Metal Gear. Let's see him shine in other areas.
It sucks that Konami holds the Snatcher isp. I just finished the Sega CD version and it was excellent but it ended kind of abruptly.
I've never played a SH game but PT had me absolutely hooked. I wouldn't mind if the game ended up coming back and it has that MK ultra stuff in it, it's just a completely different game and it comes out in like 7 years
[editline]1st May 2015[/editline]
But I think all this is grasping at straws.
There's no doubt Kojima, Norman, and Guillermo were very excited for the project. I could see them all coming back to work on the game under a new name.
Norman even said he hopes to see it come back around one day.
I want it to still be Silent Hills mainly because I'd like it if the franchise stopped being a sad old corpse for a while
a 30 minute demo was a bigger breath of fresh air than the last 3 games were
Well at least we'll always have Silent Hill 2.

I'm always amazed by the bizarre authenticity of rumors surrounding Kojima and his movements. Has he ever commented on the massive webs of conspiracy that follow him?

Kojima u cheeky lil' cunt.
Maybe Silent Hills has a chance still but under a different name.[/QUOTE]Not everything's a massive conspiracy theory. Jesus.

Doesn't mean we can't have fun.

Because straw grabbing and instilling false hope that will lead to disappointment is fun right?
the ending was a pretty obvious stab at the silent hill franchise up until that point, you could apply it to pretty much anything kojima has a stated dislike for
we need some metal gear news
the hype train is out of fuel and the drought is setting in

Kojima is bringing the game to us. This is my whole town right now.
Fucking hold me.

Right I've had enough of peace walker for today, the third torture sequence always ends up with me dead even with the spoon trick, as if I didn't need another reason to hate some of the things in this game . Button mashing is retarded, it was bad in mgs and mgs 2 there was no need for it to return .
The button mashing sequences really aren't that hard. Whenever the topic comes up I post this video. Just do what this guy does.

Trying to read up on some things I didn't understand while watching the story, and there's one thing right now that confuses me: [sp]Why did Ocelot turn himself into Liquid's doppelganger, and why did he want Snake & Co to win against Outer Haven in the final battle? I heard something about fooling the Patriots, but how?[/sp]

I did something similar to that to beat the torture scene in MGS1. Just try to make your body naturally jitter instead of pushing up and down. The way I did it caused a lot of strain though so maybe this guy's method is better.

The method I posted is really easy, even for all difficulties. The only one that might be tough is mgs4 just because it's so long.

solidus torture on Euro Extreme is supposedly the worst thing imaginable.

Ok so, [sp]Ocelot wanted what Snake and Co wanted: to end the Patriots and return the world to it's original state (before the Patriots AIs had control) Where Ocelot's plan went too far was that he wanted to basically end the Patriots control by ending civilization as we know it. He basically wanted to take the human race back to the stone age. So when Snake and Co won against Outer Haven, I guess Ocelot was ok with it because the Patriot AI's were still defeated. Part of Ocelots plan was to take control from the inside, and the way for him to do that was to fool the Patriot Ais into thinking that he was Liquid. That's why he did psycho-therapy and became Liquid Ocelot. The AI's were easily fooled when they thought Ocelot was Liquid Snake, a clone of Big Boss. That's also why they needed Big Boss' DNA sequence, it contained access codes to the Patriots AI architecture that would allow him to take control of the nanomachines (turn off the enemies guns) and have no one to oppose him.[/sp]
