that wasn't ever really difficult to do in mgs3, only reason it would ever give me any trouble in mgs2 is because they send in that shock squadron with the riot shields and shit
No, it wasn't difficult per se, because they are mooks.
The purpose of mooks in the majority of video games is not to be a danger in and of themselves, but rather to soften you up by draining your resources, most prominently your health and in the case of MGS, rations.
With regenerating health, this is completely out the window, and they no longer serve any purpose whatsoever, other than decreasing your score if you kill them.
does GZ looks different after the patch for anyone else?
[sp]Literally no reason for Solidus to show up in TPP though. I mean what bearing would he have on the story?[/sp]
[sp]Like, being sent to spy on Big Boss by Cipher? I mean, he HAS to get that immense devotion to him somewhere. We are talking about such level of devotion that he actually defied the damn Patriots.
Who knows what else could Kojima come up with.[/sp]

[sp]Solidus is THE perfect clone of Big Boss. If he shows up, he could basically act as a son towards Snake. With Big Boss being preoccupied with Solidus, it could fuel Liquid's hate towards him, being neglected all that time.[/sp]

I don't think it is ever stated that Solidus is devoted or met or even liked Big Boss. He just hates the Patriots, probably because he was their tool for so long.
So if Solidus needs to meet with anyone in TPP it isn't BB, it is Ocelot.
Finally got the 100% in GZ. I was a bit annoyed you have to do the marking challenge in all missions but it wasn't that bad.
I used the easy way for the anti air mission with the unlocked rocket launcher. I missed few times though and had to kill the tank from the helicopter. Felt alright.

hopefully this means it isn't headshots: the game

That's actually great news, MGO2 was really unbalanced and filled with tryhards

Thanks, bud.
I wouldn't be surprised if that was a way to drive around without setting off an alarm because other guards would see the 3 passengers and assume you're one of them
if you drive around with a soldier on the seat next to you the other guard won't notice you, i think
well that's how i managed to sneak in the admin with a truck anyways
but i guess that if they see the guy in a spandex next to him, they will get alerted
[sp]I would like to see at least some info about Frank Jaeger aka Gray Fox in TPP , it would make sense since it was Big Boss's most trusted soldier in Outer Heaven and in Zanzibar Land[/sp]
[sp]Arguable about what's canon and what's not at this point but previously it's stated Frank was nearly the same level of fame as Big Boss amongst his comrades. It would be a true sin to not make Frank an important character.[/sp]

Maybe Frank is Quiet

One thing that still annoys me nowadays is how the nacho kind of people trailer pretty much ruined GZ(storywise)
As heartbreaking as it was to see Mother Base being destroyed, it wasn't nearly as shocking it was designed to be
If this was a book or a comic
Would Big Boss kill anyone in the Ground Zeroes mission?

I'd say no initially, but after he rescues Paz, he just kills every marine he sees.

I think the TGS 2013 "Sins of the Father" trailer should have been the reveal trailer, so they could keep the "Moby Dick Studios" ruse going for a while longer, and we also would have a lot more wowed by that trailer being shown first.

You know, I think this is the closest thing man can get to listening to a choir of angels.
Beat MGS3 the only true way to fight the boss CQC.
I'm ashamed to say I DSP'd my way through MGS3 a little.
I didn't realize I could replace my silencer or that I could heal through 80% of the game so I just played super carefully for the most part
[editline]25th January 2015[/editline]
I did CQC the boss tho so I think I should get some credit
Beat MGS3 the only true way to fight the boss CQC.
CQC'ing Volgin and the Boss is the only way to play.
I only DSP'd when I had to escort Eva
The Xbox 360 pre-order for MGSV is $40.99 on Amazon, and they do pre-order price guarantees. This probably doesn't apply to many of you, but if you were planning on buying the 360 version, you might want to take up that deal.
CQC'ing Volgin and the Boss is the only way to play.
Fighting Volgin was surprisingly easy, I should've CQC'd him. I just stood there and magdumped the M63 into him. [sp]I also feel bad about letting The End die of old age :v([/sp]
Fuck the Fury though
Beat MGS3 the only true way to fight the boss CQC.
i did beat her with CQC
while she was hiding, i just repeatedly head slammed her face in then ran to the other side of the map since i can't counter for shit
i'm sorry boss
Beat MGS3 the only true way to fight the boss CQC.
I think the Boss fight was one of my favorite parts of the game, especially doing it CQC. There was just something about that scene, can't put it into words but it was really touching.
The Boss fight is the best fight in the series.

Im finding it hard to agree and disagree.
This series has so many good god damn boss fights.
