Most MGS communities online are kind of all sitting around right now
there's no new crazy theories we've analyzed everything to death we've replaydd all the games and we're all just standing on the edge of the underworld looking at the abyss hoping for some miracle to break out and escape from all this.

Man, I hope they make a Metal Gear: Requiem one day. It'll follow the missions of The Joy, The Sorrow, The Pain, The Fury, The Fear, and The End in WWII. If gamers want a Metal Gear game with a female protagonist, that's the perfect opportunity to expand on The Boss as a character, wouldn't you agree? She'd be in her early 20s at the time, if I'm not mistaken.
If they were to make a game set during WW2 with the boss I have a feeling they'll totally ruin her character. Although they could probably improve the cobras some more.
If Sam doesn't make an appearance in one way or another I will fly to Osaka and personally piss on as many Platinum developers' desks as I can like an indignant puppy until security drags me away

I was just thinking this the other day, a game centered around the Cobra unit would be great.
you guys say that now but I honestly couldn't see how a game about the the cobra unit could be interesting for more than one mission
there's only so many applications "bee guy" has that can be unique
Metal Gear Rising 2 on the other hand is the most welcome news in the world cause lets be frank, Metal Gear Rising is basically just a wacky cyborg adventure with the Metal Gear franchise sort've slapped on as an afterthought and as a result is allowed to get up to whatever hijinks it wants to
although as much as I love it I secretly resent it because it's the one people who hate the series all love
MGS3 is basically where everything important in the series comes from. All the stories and main events branch off from that point in time. If we are going to get a game set before MGS3 it's not going to be WWII, it's going to be her mission to kill The Sorrow.
If it's a Wii U exclusive then Hideki Kamiya can go fuck himself.
But Kamiya didn't have anything to do with Rising and he probably isn't part of Rising 2 either.

If anything, do it like Devil May Cry 3 where after beating the game once you can play as Sam. I think that's the fairest compromise.
And the Gray fox skin needs to come back since that's exclusively how I played the game.
