I A-ranked the destroy the AA emplacements by fucking around. PT still scares the crap out of me
i don't really keep up with mgs or its community. but i did play ground zeroes and it was actually pretty fantastic. i really like how the contrast between mgs and pt shows how versatile the engine is at different environments and atmospheres. that being said has there been any mod that's replaced snake with mgs1 snake?

I think there should be a guide somewhere that tells which files you need to edit.

Like Mass Effect 2, every other cutscene Shepard pulled out an assault rifle, but I was playing an Infiltrator and couldn't even carry assault rifles. Though I will never understand the use of pre-rendered cutscenes, they should only be used to show things the game engine can't do, or preferably just do something the engine can do.

Like Saints Row 3 has loads of pre rendered cutscenes but nothing that happens in them is impossible to do in game. They just take up a lot of space and look worse than the actual game because they can't upscale and run at 720p.

But in the cutscene I was just wearing civilian clothing and the game thought I was wearing the robes.
I couldnt parry for shit and still kinda completed MGR..... Lets just say I almost broke shit. My mind is just not capable of parrying. Just not.

MGS4 really needed less guns. The customisation options were already really good imo but it was ruined by having about 20 assault rifles. I get that it's realistic to have every group use a different gun, but it just feels bloated. A better compromise would be like 2-3 guns for each category.
i hope mgs5 has lots of guns

Yeah you might not be able to find ammunition for it all the time, but you can always just buy some.
Prerendered cutscenes were a pretty big problem in MGR in my opinion. They made the game take up about 30GB even though the cutscenes looked worse than ingame footage.
