She exists solely to explain earlier statements of such in previous games.

And we already know the outcome of that event, so it wouldn't be a very surprising story anyway.[/sp] I don't think we should have an MGS without a Snake or a Metal Gear/Shagohod mech in it either, and I can't/don't want to imagine a Nazi mech thingy, it's dipping too much into Wolfenstein territory.

Hitting it on the head. I don't think you could fill an entire game with the cobras, there's simply only so many places a Beeman will be interesting. I know everyone has their fill in story they want but I think a harsh reality of MGS is that they're not necessary. Hell, we only really needed 3 to explain how big boss went evil. Dude fell from grace. V is going to add more insight to the whole thing but it was obviously written after the fact. I think the series will be complete with V. I'm not against remakes of MG1/2 but ehh? It's all told. Silent Hill though. I want to be scared again and I want to go back to my favorite small town and I want to play Silent Hill game that doesn't spend 9 hours motorboating Silent hill 2. I get it guys. Its the best one. No disagreements from me but lets move on please?

I think Kojima is basically Snake. He decides to retire from making games/war only to be dragged back in by colnami for one more mission. Then naturally gets roped into the bullshit and can't leave because the world needs him. eventually konami will be shut down by some kind of virus, and Kojima will almost kill himself in front of ZOE's grave, only for Kojimas father to show up with the CEO of Konami to put it all to an end. to paraphrase someone: "Just when i think i'm out, they keep pulling me back in"

I think I would be overall satisfied if MGSV is the last kojima-led metal gear game i'd love more spinoffs ala Rising, but I think kojima has done all he can do and its time to move on

The entirety of Solid and Liquid Snake is still 100% Big Boss genes, it's just the recessive versions of the genes versus the dominant genes.

Vulcan Raven and I think a couple other references point to Solid Snake having Japanese blood in him, though, which is what i'm referring to; they explained that away through the Japanese assistant to Dr. Clark donating egg cells. It's really nothing major I guess, since they were fine-tuned to be based off of Big Boss, but it still matters to a degree, even if minorly. I bet Solidus had a different donor alongside the different time and methods used to create him.
